The Dolphin in Canterbury

Top pub, great grub, love the location, just has a good feel to it, well run, there's a good attitude to the place that feels right. Like the garden, it's been a great place for some time now also... Doing the basics very well, with the visit.

Discovered this gem accidentally on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Fabulous roast, cosy atmosphere and excellent service. Connor was a fabulous waiter. Very friendly and attentive! Thank you - we’ll be back for sure!

I have a lovely meal there with my partner…The food was amazing and the portions were big! The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Lovely looking pub in a great location. It was let down by lack of beers and staff that were so slow it was unbelievable. I had to order my beer three times before I got it. Another customer ended up thumping the bar in frustration. Food was OK.

Food was lovely, staff were polite.Only downside of note, gentleman behind the bar clearly had a few to drink as was the festive period and was quite boisterous.Would recommend for a nice meal and drink :)

Food was nice, we had Vegan Nachos, Onion Rings, Fish and Chips etc. But next time we will know to book a table in advance, as the place was packed and we had to sit in the cold outside (beer garden). There was a large obnoxious group of lads (a big family?) out there, presumably a party, who just stood around for the hour or more we were there, talking very loud, they didn't order any food... Also people smoking right near where we were eating is not great. Only two working toilets also... lol

Always love to come back to eat or drink with family and friend. Lovely and kind staff, and helpful. This time we come on special occasions, my husband 50th birthday. Manajer helpful and very kind Stuardxxx

Nice place. Good amount of seating outdoors and under cover. Heat lamps make it pleasant even in an English October. Food is pretty good, but I'd like a larger dessert selection, but that's my sweet tooth talking. Staff friendly and helpful.

Nice out door seating area in the garden with heaters at the tables under the large awning. Good food, though the menu isn't extensive, mostly burgers and pizzas. Table is only for 2 hours at present but had a really nice lunch served by lovely friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend 😁
