Genuinely the best roast beef I have ever eaten. Excellent service, food and drinks. Already planning our trip back. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Lovely pub with fantastic food and service! Everything was delicious. Comfy and relaxed, warm setting.

I called in advance to ask if they are able to cater for my mum who is Indian vegetarian! sometimes chefs will alter their own menu cater for my mum - 1 thing I wasnt expecting is a menu created for her! Of which I was taken back by because not all hospitality business are so welcoming of this (trust me I know having worked in hospitality for over 10 years). We find it challenging to take her out to restaurants so knowing that this is a possibility is a great feeling in itself. To top it off all the food is AMAZING and scrumptious. Including the service. We came here 2 years ago just after the pandemic and it was good then however now its gotten better! So a great credit to the Head Chef and the team! especially bouncing back stronger!

Lovely staff, beautiful settings and good drinking. Food looked lovely however didn't have time to stop & eat. Booking is required though. Highly recommend

Simply the best pub Sunday Roast we've had in years. The beef was cooked to perfection and the accompanying veg etc were beautifully tweaked. The huge sharing Yorkshire Pud was very special. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the wines (and gins) on offer. We'll definitely return.

The perfect setting off the beaten track. Lovely log fire roaring and a very cosy setting for dinner. The food was exceptional and a good choice and nice to see a seasonal menu with fresh produce. The staff were so friendly and we had a lovely evening and will definately return.

Positioned out in the middle of no man's land but better described as a needle in a haystack. Great friendly staff, beautiful features found throughout the pub itself such as the open wood burner, and more importantly the amazing food provided with a smile.Looking forward to my next visit 👌🏻👍🏻.

We didn't eat here this time, but the garden is lovely, the beer was good and cold, wine selection was very decent and we met the owner and his dog who were both lovely. Will definitely be coming back when the braai is going.
