A very nice theatre. Plenty of options on seating across three floors. The stairs down to the seats on the upper floors are a little steep but with plenty of handrails - it does mean you have less chance of someone blocking your view. While the seats aren't plush or spacious (it's a theatre, they maximise the seating) they are comfortable. Third floor end of row there is a safety bar slightly obscuring the view - this is noted when booking these seats.Of course, there's a bar for alcohol, hot drinks and snacks. The obligatory interval ice creams were good (not as expensive as I feared - 4 tubs and a stick based ice cream for £12).There are a number of parking options nearby, it's Canterbury so they can be a little expensive (I used the station multistory 5 min walk away - £6.30 from about 7 pm to after 10 pm). If you're coming during the day then there is a park and ride.

I love the Marlow Theatre- I've been to two musical shows and the annual panto in the last six months. I completely recommend seating near the stage, as you can really engage and soak up the atmosphere. I have another musical booked for March and, of course, the next panto... I can't wait!!

Hadn't been to the Marlowe since its new look and I have to say I was very impressed! Not only was the building really smart but the show was amazing! We went to watch the lion, the witch and the wardrobe... you wouldn't believe you weren't watching a West end show, simply amazing!

The whole set up was good. First time at the "new" Marlowe. Great to be back seeing live theatre. Air conditioner and good view.Bat out of Hell musical was excellent. The cast were so energetic and put their life and sole into the performance.Go visit a live show, you won't regret it.

Went to the last evening of the pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, it was absolutely amazing, Dame Trott was outstanding, in fact the whole cast was brilliant, will definitely be going to the next one, which is going to be Sleeping Beauty, the venue looked lovely and everyone seemed to have a great night, interactive and fun time.

We mixed up our dates, but the box office got us in tonight, on what appeared to be a full house. The pantomime was absolutely brilliant! Duncan was unfortunately ill, but his stand in Chris, did a sublime job! Well done. We both left thoroughly impressed! Superb!

Marlowe theatre - amazeballs! What a fabulous pantomime, you absolutely must go if you can. Fantastic cast, hilarious script, costumes and set are out of this world, even the last minute stand ins were absolutely incredible, can't rate this panto highly enough!

Brilliant panto as always at the Marlowe. Ben Roddy hilarious as ever and the Canterbury tradition always includes the bench. Great fairy 🧚♂️ Joanne Clifton-fantastic voice to go with her dancing skills. 💃 Just what we all needed a good laugh 😊 thanks.

Went to see Jack and the beanstalk panto. Even with 3 main cast members out with covid, the 3 replacement actors coped remarkably well, 2 of them with only 2 days to rehearse and learn the lines. We laughed from start to finish and thoroughly enjoyed it. Same again next year.

Fantastic theatre. Wonderfully comfortable seats with decent leg room (I'm over 6ft and there was more than enough room for me). Nice variety of shows. Definitely worth a visit.
