The Heron in Canterbury

Just had a lovely roast beef dinner at the Heron, brilliant food, and service from friendly caring staff.

What a lovely meal my wife and daughter and grandchildren had for the first time we have been, can't wait to return please keep up the good service

Food excellent. Great staff. Always welcome Me as if it's my first visit.

Staff really friendly and polite. Cant comment on food and drink as I attended a wake here so not a happy day unfortunately 😔

I booked the Heron function room for my husbands wake.Kim was very compassionate and understanding, she took away all the stress of the sad occasion.Kim catered a fabulous freshly cooked buffet. Our memory tree was displayed for us, we were able to use Bluetooth to enable us to play music, the room set up was great, photos were also displayed.The bar staff were fantastic and were kept very very busy all day until late!Thank you so much for all the staffs professionalism, we are really grateful.Jenny, Charlotte, Natalie and Melissa

Always such amazing food, great service and always friendly would def reccomend especially the roasts on a Sunday 😋

I played with my band the six shades of grey at the Heron. and found the staff excellent and the crowd all so.The buffet they laid on was one of the best buffets that l have seen.My band and my self cant wait to go back there again.10 out of 10.

Cannot praise the staff highly enough - they bent over backwards to accommodate our party of 23 for our family Christmas dinner. Wonderful food too. Thank you.

Great lunch deal for two courses. Sat outside nice and sheltered from the wind lots of outdoor seating and the two members of staff that I met were very friendly. Just the right amount of food for a 2 course lunch, not too much and not too little. Food was good too. Thank you!!!
