The King Ethelbert Inn in Canterbury

A straightforward and unpretentious pub that does excellent sandwiches after a long walk inland and / or along the coastline. They have outside tables but we went inside after a long and hot hoofing around!

Great pub. Friendly staff, very clean. We had a cheese and gammon ploughman's and a tuna baguette, which came with a side salad and a really tasty dressing and a handful of tortilla crisps.Very well priced and nicely presented. We took our dog in too which was lovely.

Stumbled across this gem while on a walk by the coast. Friendly staff and lovely food including a number of specials. Well priced. Cosy atmosphere.

Great location to go to after a walk to Reculver towers. Shared the seafood platter between the two of us as the portions are quite large. Pretty good pub food and dog friendly as well.

A very cosy locals pub. As a visitor passing through the area, we was warmly welcomed. A lovely friendly atmosphere where everyone seems to know everyone (and we found ourselves being brought into many of the lively discussions lol).. Great selection of drinks and a lengthy menu. Id recommend making this either the start or the end of your walk around Reculver!

Nice pub in a nice location. Food very good and reasonably priced and plenty of it.
