Lovely little country pub.Nice welcome..Found this by pure luck,as signed at top of the country lane.Just what we were looking for.Lovely garden.quite and they do food.second time we visited..

A proper pub, good quality and no mucking about. Cosy fire, excellent traditional pub food, well kept real ales, entertaining and friendly locals mixed with visitors, friendly staff. Landlords have found the sweet spot in terms of creating and then nurturing a real country pub. Well done.

This is a lovely country pub in an idyllic Eadt Kent location a couple of miles S of Canterbury. Great food, good beer, friendly bar staff. Highly recommended.

Best place for a master brew. I've heard from local kentish folk that this beer is often kept badly and therefore a bad pint in most pubs. The mermaid alps has a nice courtyard area where I imagine sharing a bottle of wine, or a garden that has a lovely stone and brick wall backing it.

A really great all round pub. the barmaid is friendly, welcoming and knows her stuff, a good asset to the establishment. the beer is top notch, the pub is quaint and cosy. food options are classic pub favourites at fair prices. only thing id say is I wish I had greens and another sausage with my bangers and mash but can't win them all. I hope the new owners keep up the good work
