Reasonably near the centre. Rooms were comfortable, with en suite baths/showers. The included breakfast was really excellent, and had a lot of choice. Overall, highly recommend.

Great location with a bit of outside seating in the front and a nice little courtyard out the back. Selection of food and drinks are expansive and good but a little over priced. Staff are a mix bag but usually friendly

Had a recomendation for this pub. Cannot fault it. They had a private function in the front bar. Was given a table in the restaurant to use. The service was friendly & quick. Food menu had a good choose & value. Over all it was a good experience & we will be back.

Amazing little pub with accommodation. The staff are very welcoming and always available to help. The food is so good! Also the ambience is very nice and welcoming. Stayed here one night and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Canterbury.

Went for lunch with friends. Nice food esp the small plates to share. Staff attentive but not pushy. At no time did we feel rushed. Had a lovely time, would go again.

What a lovely spot! Conveniently situated.Having up to now being disappointed by how little one gets for one's buck in the places we have overnighted before, this was a pleasant surprise. Couldn't fault the reasonably sized room. Bathroom was spacious. Both were very clean and I would imagine recently refurbished. A good, varied breakfast selection. The English breakfast didn''t have the usual frozen hash brown and 'sausage' you find everywhere from Wetherspoons to seemingly all the affordable B & B's, but the real thing. The only suggestion would be for a bedside table on both sides of the bed instead of on one only (for mobile, Glass of water, book).

Hands down the finest Sunday roast in Canterbury. A friendly, welcoming place to eat and drink with a cosy fire, comfy seating and plenty of space. The hotel is lovely too. 10/10

This was our second visit to this lovely restaurant & Inn (the last visit was 5 years ago), and we certainly weren't disappointed. We only stayed one night for a brief advent visit. Our room was right at the top and we had a beautiful view of the cathedral! The place was busy due to Christmas parties and other guests, but the staff was attentive and provided us with all necessary information. We (again) absolutely loved the breakfast, and will be definitely back again one day. Oh, and our eight year old couldn't get enough of the underfloor heating in the bathroom! So comfy on a cold December day.

Stayed for one night here, lovely spacious room, clean with all the amenities. Perfect for a central city stay. The bar is decent with a range of beers, we ate elsewhere in the evening which is a shame as the food looked good. Full English breakfast the following day gave us a taste and did not disappoint. The only negative is the Wi-Fi which in this day and age is a must. In the bar you can hook up to sky mobile which is adequate but not great. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi doesn’t seem to extend to the room and 4/5G signal seems non-existent.That aside, it’s still worthy of 5 stars and I’d recommend. We will no doubt be back next time we’re staying in Canterbury.
