Lovely Art Deco building with a movie theme dedicated to Peter Cushing. Food is predictable at affordable prices which you come to expect with the Wetherspoons chain. Staff are friendly and efficient. Drink prices are always very competitive.

Comfortable and interesting 'Spoons pub with good service. Being windowless it has quite a unique atmosphere and I like the large film murals. Would happily return.

Lovely restored cinema that is now a Wetherspoons pub. Usual fare but on the night we were there, it had a special Burn's night menu with haggis and haggis burger (unfortunately sold out). Family-friendly pub (with children's menu) and also dog-friendly. Best to use their app and have your drinks/food delivered to your table, although you can order at the bar.

Nicest Whetherspoon I've ever visited. Clean, tidy and service efficient. Had fish and chips and it was surprisingly nice. Very good value for money. Disabled access thanks to a lift down to bar. Disabled toilet at bar level. Decor tasteful and pays tribute to fact building used to be a cinema.

Impressive old cinema now converted to your standard 'Spoons experience in the middle of Whitstable High Street. You know what you're getting from the McDonald's of pub chains and it's no bad thing: well-kept pints, decent snacks, cheap and cheerful food, some shambling old men in the corner and a swirly carpet to hide the stains. Ordering by app is still a novelty and works well in these Covid times.

I always write the same thing when visiting a Weatherspoons bar, they are extremely typical and consistent. The venue is nice, the art decor design is fabulous, the wood across-the-board is a nice touch especially when visiting the upper lobby and toilet area. I do think however if you took away the six feet standing partitions between rows of seats it would look like a canteen or bingo hall. None the less, the food and drinks were on par, and the staff were equally friendly. Not much else to say other than if you're looking for a Weatherspoons outlet then this is as good as any. Enjoy.

What a lovely old building. I loved the way it was decorated to remember the history of the place. Used the app to order. No problems. Nice visit.

Inside very hi ceiling with images of the late Peter Cushing. They outside area is a great place to sit in the sun and they also have a separate outside smoking area. But no free car park . The table service was great and the food was hot and tasted fresh. Much better than London westherspoons

Really nice Wetherspoons pub in lovely little town. The pub itself is situated inside what I believe to be an old cinema. It contains some lovely art deco features and is adorned with lots of old movie memorabilia. The service was great very polite and helpful and as always good value. The toilets typical for Wetherspoons are upstairs but it's worth the trip with the old movie posters on the walls along side the stairs and some lovely stained glass windows at the top. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.
