No cask bitter available, Old fashioned boozer in need of a bit of TLC

Great family run pub, friendly people, good for a quick pint or ten!

·

Not good like it once was

·

Old fashioned pub used by locals and sells good beer. Busier with the after work crowd but slows down in the later evening.

·

Great, friendly village pub where all are made very welcome.

·

Nice pub, beergarten and very good food and ale

After a long walk we popped into the Plough for a couple of drinks.Great welcome. The guy behind the bar was apologetic as other staff had not turned up for duty. However he managed a busy period professionay. Nobody waited too long to be served.I had the steak and Guinness pie with potato wedges and a plate of excellent veg.A lovely simple pub dish and I will be going again. My wife cleared her plate too. Thanks for the serviceAB

Been in this pub several times now and it never fails to disappoint. Good food made with fresh ingredients and the Sunday roast is exceptional.
