The Veg Box Cafe in Canterbury

Amazing place for lunch in central Canterbury. The menu changes daily, so worth coming back a couple of times to try it all. Very friendly staff, a lot of space to sit in and out.

This place really went above and beyond, I ordered a cake last minute hoping to receive a simple chocolate cake, and they iced it so beautifully, I cannot thank them enough for being so accommodating, the cake tasted GORGEOUS too, you can really tell they put so much love into their food. The atmosphere here is also amazing, so many lovely people, and the staff are brilliant, so kind and friendly, they really make you feel at ease! I cannot believe I haven’t been here before, it is such a hidden gem.

I am not vegan but I came to have breakfast everyday I was in Canterbury. I did blow up my mind. It was delicious. I did try the full vegan breakfast and the frittata. Seriously, it was incredibly good, the coffee exceptional. Totally recommended.

Without doubt, this is the best vegan experience that I have had. This place has become my favourite 'treat' to go to: staff are welcoming and most helpful. I booked for the Christmas dinner ...and it was absolutely superb, faultless.Just read a recent review and would add that I made the life-changing decision to switch to a completely vegan diet on medical grounds only....nothing pretentious....just a desire to eat a variety of home cooked, full flavoured, well presented, delicious plant based foods.Thank you to everyoneSee you again soon

Went to The Veg Box today with my sister in law and our friend. We went in and it was super busy but the staff were honestly smashing it. We all had soup and bread and it was delicious and a really good price! We did notice some customers being horrible to the staff who were doing their best, it's not cool. It's super easy to be a decent human being 🙃. Looking forward to coming back again and bringing my boyfriend. Thank you!!

Incredibly good food that makes you want more and more! Everything on the menu is amazing and the staff are attentive and polite. Have been many times before and will keep going back as much as possible.

Eaten here more times then I can count. And somehow they always blow my mind with how tasty and healthy the food is ❤️. Met the owner today and she was so wonderful too along with her entire team. Cannot recommend enough

The most amazing food in Canterbury.Me and my Husband were visiting Canterbury last week, and after visiting the Cathedral we stopped at this amazing cafe-restaurant. During our trip it was really difficult to find variety of vegetarian dishes, but this cafe surpassed all our expectations. The food was amazing, very tasty, creative and a full explosion of different flavours in your mouth. The staff was also very lovely, helpful, attentive and smiley. There is a good variety of options in the menu. We really loved it there and we would be back.
