The White Hart in Canterbury

What a lovely little pub tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. It stands close to a beautiful Georgian terrace and looks very picturesque. Food and beer were excellent and the whole atmosphere relaxed and friendly.

Drinks were great! We asked for something that wasn't on the menu and Simon recommended some lovely mix of choices. We didn't try the food but it smelled lovely, had food envy toward the next table! Spacious back garden to enjoy on a sunny day

Really lovely little place in Canterbury! A nice friendly bar with a good sized outdoor area as well!Very handily located just over 5 minutes walk from Canterbury East train station if you head left out of the Dane John Gardens, then follow the road to your right and you’ll see it.Serves a range of hot food as well as a large selection of drinks in a family friendly atmosphere.

Quite a quiet pub lovely food and service. Seems to be off the beaten track in Canterbury but a good place for a quiet drink. Recommended for a low key drink.

It...It's very professional serviceGood looking pubI been there for the try to Ekmek / Pide...I was delicious.I try white cheese and mince once.Both of them was so tasty.Also I try to "Shepherd's Salad"Unfortunately I am not saying same thing to salad.Yes it's good but it's not the same taste in Istanbul.I talked with chef aswell. He was a professional in his job. And "pide" was the same in Istanbul.It's very professional copy of them. Definitely same taste (or it's very very similar) in Turkey.Congratulations.As a Turk, I can say you can eat "pide" in here.A little advice to chef: all the cucumber, tomatoes and peppers should be chopped much smaller. And please peel all of the cucumbers and tomatoes.(I know it is not my proficiency but I come from Turkey, I already know how to prepare)I'm thinking of going to "White Hart Inn" more.I recommend you to go and try "PIDE" especially.Thank you.

Lovely pub with an excellent Sunday roast! Really generous portion sizes and great atmosphere. Perfectly place for lunch on a day out in Canterbury 😊

Quite a pricey pub in an upmarket quarter of Canterbury city centre. Just popped in for a quick drink after Saturday afternoon shopping as it's a short walk from Canterbury East station.There seemed to be a few people playing boardgames which added to the pleasant relaxed atmosphere. The posh girls serving were very nice and helpful.Beerwise very much a Sheps pub with Master Brew and Whitstable Bay Pale served in those funny stemmed pint glasses (that don't look like they could hold a pint).

Pleasant, well run pub in quiet part of Canterbury city centre with a large garden. Can be very busy. Haven't tried the food but it looks good

This is one of the friendliest and most charming pubs in Canterbury. The owners are wonderful, the staff are welcoming and warm and the pub is full of character. It has an excellent garden in summer and winter. The open fire is the perfect place to enjoy a drink or a meal. The menu is lovely and I had the best pie and chips I’ve had in a long time. Don’t miss this hidden gem!

A good old English pub with a huge garden to enjoy the warm days. The staff is very friendly and fast. The food is prepared in a small kitchen and comes relatively fast and in a good quality to the table. The furnishings could certainly be spiced up a bit.Price / performance is absolutely top.
