I wanted somewhere to watch my football team play a crucial evening match on Sky Sports. I enquired at The Three Tuns in the afternoon and was assured that it wouldn't be a problem. When I turned up I had a table reserved and was offered tasters to choose my preferred real ale. I also had a tasty meal at a reasonable price. I couldn't have been made more welcome whilst being a long way from home.

I have been visiting this Public House since 1982. It has always been a very welcoming place. One of the oldest in the City. The bar staff are very friendly and at £3.20 for a pint of decent Carlesberg 👍 where is to go wrong. Also a 5 minute walk to the bus station.

A great pub and restaurant. Being based within an old building it is spread over lots of different areas with plenty of character. There's a good food menu and wide variety of drinks available, all reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and the service was good, food came out nice and quick.

Sometimes this place is great with super fast service and other times you're hungover and there at 1pm on a Sunday and they deliver your food but not your drinks, or your food but no cutlery, or actually not your food at all. It took an HOUR for the most mediocre eggs I have ever tasted on toast that was ROCK SOLID and inedible to arrive at the table. The mac and cheese is good though

It's been a long time since I'd been here and it hasn't changed much, which is good because it's a nice bustling olde/city pub with a great atmosphere. Last orders were quite early for a Saturday night though!

Popped in here after a long day at Wingham Wildlife Park for a bite to eat after having no success finding anywhere else. A really old pub with a huge history, dating back apparently to the Roman times when it was a theatre. No parking but the service was polite and fast, the food was hot and fresh and four meals were delivered to our table within fifteen minutes of ordering. A relatively small pub but would highly recommend! Typical Greene King pricing and standards - very impressive!

Tried a few places for food in Canterbury whilst visiting my daughter and have to say this is absolutely the best we have found. Staff are really friendly, service is great, food is really good. Will definitely be returning

Nice staff, beer is good. I just personally don't like TV in pubs. They ruin conversation.

Staff are friendly, very helpful and welcoming. lovely selection of local beers. Warm inviting pub with open fire to sit by, will def be back regularly 😊

The staff are friendly, the beer is reasonably priced and they are always doing special offers to get discounts. The food is decent and at a low cost as well. Its just a decent pub to go to, probably the best in Canterbury.
