Not been to this pub since was taken over in 2019 , what great job they have done . Shame they will be leaving soon ,let's hope new landlords can keep up good work when they take over .

The menu looked great but very very disappointing today service was slow food was bland and potatoes clearly had been pre cooked then flashed before serving leaving them rubbery and inedible. Perhaps we were unlucky today going by the rest of the reviews we read here but as they say you don’t know before you try but certain we will not be returning.

Gorgeous food and a great atmosphere. The staff were fantastic! We arrived quite late for our booked table, but the team were really accommodating and gave us a choice of tables. We opted for their range of starters so that we could just sit and pick with drinks. Absolutely faultless and we will definitely be going back! Thank you for a lovely night, be back soon.

I broke down outside this pub today, I was 3 hours from home. All the team were so lovely and welcoming. Just what I needed after waiting for my car to be picked up. I ended up staying for a couple drinks and some food whilst I waited for a lift. Can't thank them enough for being so nice. Pub has a lovely atmosphere and food was delicious!

Traditional Country Pub with friendly staff. It's popular with locals but although I am not local I will be making a b line in the future.

Delightful staff in a comfortable, warm setting make this an ideal place for a great meal and drinks. Service was friendly and attentive without being invasive, it was one of the best burgers I’d had in a long time. They were also happy to arrange a taxi for us.

Simply perfect, great food and made to feel like a local by all the staff, will definitely be stopping by again

Stumbled upon this pub on a weekend away at the Manor down the road. Turned out they had only been open a few weeks. Beautiful little pub with a great menu and a lovely atmosphere. We went for lunch and returned a few hours later for dinner! Highly recommend.

Beautiful day but hardly anyone there. We got drinks and two big bowls of delicious chips within about five minutes of arriving. Big garden with a play area and bouncy castle, great for the kids. Will definitely come back!
