Butcher's Arms in Cherwell

I took my mum here for mothers day yesterday.We went for a deal for a roast main, dessert and glass of prosecco.The food washomemade, fresh and and delicious.The staff were warm, friendly and accommodating.Value for money was great. We received hand made mothers day bag full of lovly treats. We will definitely loom forward to visiting again. Lovely pub.

Really friendly staff and great with families. We called them and turned up relatively short notice, but accommodated is with drinks, snacks and good pub grub.

Lovely food. Special garlic chicken and home made chips superb. Very reasonable prices and a lovely pub with caring staff who go that extra mile. Gave us tips of where to go and best way to get into Oxford etc. Fantastic !

Service excellent. Though it was strange being called madam. Thought I was at the ritzy in London. Quirky approach. Not a criticism. Just sweet

Absolutely amazing food!! All home cooked, including the chips, which you just don’t get anywhere anymore! Lovely lady who served us and the view of the field in a nice quiet village. Will definitely be back! Amazing place, well recommended!

Very cool pub, in a very beautiful location! All the people who work there are very nice and friendly! The Garden is wonderful! We'll be back soon! It's well worth a visit!

It's open again under new management! Great table service outside. Great chips for hungry cyclists AND Doom Bar. 😃

Lovely village pub. Popped in for a quick beer after work. Great selection of beers and friendly service.Very quiet but a couple of people inside and some more outside enjoying the beer, location and rare warm evening!I enjoyed the humour of the chalkboard behind the bar (see attached picture...).
