Excellent value and very good beer straight from the Hook Norton kegs. We had a lovely meal of a burger and two pints for the same price as just a meal at other pubs. Brilliant Sunday lunch and good walks in the village and dogs allowed. A hidden gem for sure.

A hidden gem. It's a wonderful pub. Great atmosphere with great owners. The only downside, we don't go here enough. We haven't had a chance to eat here but many of our friends recommend it.

Brilliant.Really friendly landlady.Received a genuinely warm welcome.Well kept real ales in casks, served at the correct temperature. Low prices compared to other pubs in the area.Unbelievably clean toilets, with unusual foot operated door openers, for those that DO wash their hands!Take anti-Covid measures seriously.Felicidades!

Nice little community pub.You are made very welcome and beers are locally produced by Hook Norton brewery.Food is served on certain days but advisable to book a table in advance.Overall a nice time was had by all of us.

Fab little pub! Sat outside under the new marquee with a lovely view of the church and village. Food was great, they offer a meal a night which is a really nice way to do things. Atmosphere was great and Kate and Simon who run the pub are brilliant hosts and make everyone feel welcome! We will be returning!

Great village pub. Welcoming and friendly staff. Brilliant for hot food, and a good range of wine and especially gin. Kids love the hot chocolate. Happy with the Hooky too. Can't wait to come back again.

Proper pub! Open fire, great hosts, authentic village and hook Norton beers straight from barrel. Food a plenty. Loved it - lived it for a night!!!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like a local and very welcome. They had some great Hooky Ales, my new favourite 'Playing Hooky'. Food was very tasty, excellent pub classics. I had the homemade stake and ale pie, it was delicious! Proper pie too with pastry all round and a lid, yum! Lashings of gravy too, so good you could drink it on its own. We'll definitely be stopping by again, sounds like they have quizzes and live music occasionally too. Thanks Paul for a lovely evening. Lisa & Reuben
