Deddington Arms Hotel and Restaurant in Cherwell

Absolutely excellent lunch,superb service. Fish and chips beautiful, wonderful bacon and brie, and calves liver perfectly cooked.

Lovely friendly atmosphere and drinks good. No sandwiches available but crisps nice.....would recommend a visit and we will be back

Food was very good! A little expensive but it is a hotel not a pub. Only issue if they didn't track who ordered what and kept having to ask! But very good overall.

We loved it! Our stay was enjoyable, relaxing and the staff were very accommodating (especially Marcelle - nothing was too much, he was excellent). We had a great room - very quiet, large (although the bathroom needed a deep clean), massive towels and housekeeping came in each day. The WiFi was a bit iffy but we didn’t really need it and it was nice to put the phones down. Would recommend the 10km Deddington Circular Walk too! We really liked the stone walled interiors, open fired, wonderful breakfast selection and knowledgeable staff. Would love to come back :)

The food was very good and a nice area. Only issue was the poor service. Only two tables in use and we had to ask for another drink and then get our the dessert menu ourselves. Would not go again

Brilliant experience, wonderful staff, brilliant accommodation, great location.Splendid bar and restaurant and exceptional breakfast.So good we have booked to stay again. Place to stay if you are in the area.

Visited here for Sunday Lunch with the family, 9 of us. We were seated straightaway, the staff were very attentive with a seamless, polite service.The food was so delicious, the portion sizes were of great size, which was no complaint from our party. Great value for money with no faults at all.Thank you! We'll definitely be back!!

For me to write a review the place or service has to be exceptionally good or woefully bad. The Deddington Arms is superb.My wife and I have just concluded a 3 night's stay.Although we had a problem accessing our planned room at the front on the first floor (#4) we were swiftly moved to #17 which although across the car park was a modern, recently decorated, very spacious room on the first floor with a walk in dressing room with washbasin and then a large bathroom with bath, shower, WC and bidet.As comfortable as the room was it was the food and service that stands out. Quite frankly the food was amazing. We were with another couple and every course at dinner and breakfast was first class. I just don't know how such consistent meals were produced particularly on the Friday night when the restaurant was almost full. The menu for both dinner and breakfast was extensive and I could have eaten anything.The staff were also very efficient and friendly and when they were together seemed to be really enjoying themselves.Overall nothing but praise and well done Deddington Arms

Stayed here for 3 nights recently with a group of friends. Cannot fault the place. Friendly staff, easy parking, and very good food. The breakfast is really good quality cooked well despite being a buffet. Likewise delicious dinner options. Will definitely be back.
