We had a lovely time at this restaurant. We were a big group of friends which can often be a bit difficult to serve, but the did brilliant. Really enjoyed the food, there is also a bar available and they were all very friendly.

I've lived near this all my life yet never until recently actually gone in. And I'm glad I did. Prices are acceptable but food, building & location easily makes this a truly fantastic place to dine

So having lived in Kidlington for 16 years this was a restaurant we'd never tried. We went last night and sadly in no rush to go back. The woman serving had no charm, she was quite abrupt and literally 30secs after placing order we called her to change something and the look was of such inconvenience. She never put herself out to check we were ok, food ok or if wanted anything. The starters were lovely but when our mains arived there was a mixup and we'd been given lamb not chicken, they changed it but again no apology or customer service just done and put in front of us and tbh wish we hadn't said anything as lamb looked ok but our chicken korma was like soup with 5 pieces of chicken floating in it!!Both curries were bland and naan seemed chewy.Sadly this was not for us

What a wonderful restaurant. We wanted a bite to eat yesterday lunchtime and stumbled across this little gem. The service was superb and the food was outstanding. Unfortunately we don't live in Oxford because this would definitely become out local! Thanks for a lovely meal

Consistently excellent and in my opinion, the best in its class across the entire area! Really tasty food, good quality ingredients and nicely presented/prepared from fresh. Makes a change!

We have had takeaways and eat in at The Gurkha before and it’s usually very good - so as it was my Mum’s birthday today we got a takeaway tonight. Unfortunately it wasn’t that good at all. The onion bhajis tasted like they were a couple of days old and very dry, the naan was also very cold and dried out/crispy/falling apart. There was an awful lot of sauce with our kormas and roghan dishes and very little meat. Very disappointing and wondering if it’s changed hands/chef.

My first visit to this Restaurant this weekend was very pleasant this weekend. Me and friend decided to try it out and found it to be very good.It was busy which was a good sign on Saturday evening and welcoming. The food was good and pretty prompt. Also very reasonably priced I will visit again.
