Ok pub grub at 'gastro' prices. Food was cold, chaotic service. The new extension is nice though

The food was very good, but need to sort out service, waited a long time for food, then brought out in dribs and drabs. Also very slow to clear plates. Will be very good once this is sorted.

Rang them in total 25 times today to book a table for the evening with no reply. Even phoned and left a message to book 8 hours later still waiting for them to get back to me!!!

What a lovely place to eat, with a great atmosphere, although a few little tweaks to improve could be made. Our roast dinner was luke warm which meant the roast potatoes were soft, no crisp texture on the outside. We were in a hurry so ate quickly but others may have been tempted to send it back. It may also be good in the interest of the business to ensure billing is double checked. Our puddings were missed from the bill, we were honest and flagged it up but some may not. Also the option to have a dairy ice cream rather than vegan would be nice, we were told it wasn't available. We will go again as hopefully this was teething problems.

We went to the joiners to celebrate my mums birthday she passed away 5yrs the 17/07/17 and my husband passed 11/07/21 and as always the staff and atmosphere and food was out of this world,the new refurbished section was big bright and stunning so thank you to you all
