Mcdonalds in Cherwell

Says 24 7 on the post board but it's not... get their round half 5 6am due to start work and it's completely closed. However it was still open when I finished work so my 20 chicken nuggets it was! Satisfied at last haha

The food is what it is. Except. At this time there had been an issue with supplies and pretty much everything we chose wasn't available. The staff were magnificent and sorted us out with alternatives quickly, and with out fuss. In the end we weren't eating what we wanted, but we had hot, freshly cooked food.

On this occasion very poor. A long wait then food a mess or missing. Multiple customers complaining. Bins overflowing. On the plus side our complaint was dealt with in a friendly and helpful fashion. All in all not what you expect from McDonald's. This is not unusual for Baynards Green

Absolutely Disgusting! Ordered this meal this morning! Looks like the don't bother cleaning anymore. Service is always ridiculously slow.Will NEVER use again.Update: After a strong 5months of not using McDonald's I finally gave into my Daughter's demands. We arrived at Baynards Green McDonald's and were first in line at the Drive through.. Then we were sent to the dredded third window! 17minutes later our food arrived. NOT EVEN HOT! it was like it was left on a table the whole time we were waiting.Another meal ruined because of their incompetence. Absolute joke of a place.

Really well organised. Friendly efficient staff with a smile on their faces. Spotlessly clean everywhere and the food was piping hot. My only grumble was, as with every McDonald's, the carpark was small as were the parking bays. Other than that everything was perfect.

Wanted a coffee for me and ice cream for little one, no ice cream available (running theme in most maccies to be fair) coffee was very prompt and the apple pie (compromise for icecream for DD) came out prompt too. Service was great - the little I encountered. Receipts on the machine weren't printing but not busy so I could guess my number! Or pay attention to what was coming out! Overall a good pit stop for a long journey.

Sick and tired of this place having no ice cream. Get stuck on the drive thru queue for 15 minutes for nothing! Would it kill you to inform people you have run out of ice cream (which is all the bloody time) BEFORE they get trapped in the drive thru??? So infuriating!! Just put up a sign when you run out!!!!

Missing items after returning home from drive through, called to complain, was told the meal would be replaced. After a 25 minute round trip was told by a smug manager, who had no idea what the complaint was about that they could only replace the missing burger. Meal ruined, fuel wasted, total joke - avoid!

Very slow service. Took 15 mins to get a chicken wrap and 89p hamburger. I was on a 30 mins break. I’m a lorry driver. I asked for a refund but was refused and given a voucher that’s invalid unless filled in by the manager

Really poor ordering experience. Don’t use the app - just order from the kiosk. Probably worth considering drive through so that you don’t have to deal with the unhelpful, officious staff who just stand by looking gormless instead of offering the usual welcoming McDonald’s experience. So disappointing! If you’re on the A43, I suggest you go on to McD’s Towcester - it like a different company!! Food still great!!
