Miller & Carter Banbury in Cherwell

Visited before leaving Banbury and it was a nice enough place and pretty reasonable if you get a chateaubriand to share. Waited a little while for our food but apart from that it was good.

Lovely food NOT very attentive!We met some old friends at Miller & Carter (Banbury) on Friday evening. Obviously there was a lot of catching up to do and we were asked 3 times if we were ready to order.The starters and main courses were fabulous, everything you would expect. unfortunately we were never offered a dessert, before we knew it the lights were going on, the music stopped and we were obviously expected to leave as there was no one around to serve us any more drinks etc.

Always spot on. Delicious food. Worth the wait and worth the pennie. Everything from start to finish is fabulous. The steaks always come perfect. The burgers are delicious. The cocktails and wine list is amazing. And obviously always has extremely friendly staff. You always have a nice experience and you always get the treatment you are looking for when visiting. Thanks

Really great service. I really enjoyed this meal with my grandparents and parents. The waitress was very friendly. This place has a low price but very good quality food. Low price for fancy restaurant definitely go here

Arrived at 2:30 after a long drive. Went into the main entrance and waited. No one. Went outside, there were people clearing tables.Back inside. This time a waitress was at the bar.Me: "OK to order lunch?"Her: "Wait there and someone will come"Waiting 5 minutes. Nothing.Checked outside again - no one.Back inside - still no one.Went to the toilet and came back.No one.Maybe they are doing really well and just don't need the business.The carpark was almost empty - so not 'over busy'.Surely the 1-2-3 for catering is Welcome-Seat-Menu.

Nice atmosphere, clean facility, and friendly staff. The food wasn't bad, but it was not great either. My steak was perfect on one half; the other half was over cooked and dry. My son enjoyed his burger and meal. It was a pleasant experience. Hopefully, my next visit the steak will be better.

Lovely atmosphere, smiling friendly staff with hospitality, good standerd foods and drink selection, huge parking spaces, overall rating 5 star.Just one thing...bit over priced for steak!!So give 4 🌟Absolutely recommended for all occasions.

Beautiful kept restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful regarding dishes and drinks. Went for a lunchtime so didn't have to wait too long for meal. I had a 16oz steak. With all the sides I couldn't eat all of it but tasted amazing. Couldn't of been happier

Christmas has come to M & C with lovely decorations which really made the atmosphere cosy. We had a great meal with excellent service and next time we’re in the area, we’re book again.

My husband and dined at Miller and Carter in Bradbury for a rare date night. We'd never been to one before but I can wholeheartedly declare it won't be the last!The restaurant was clean and well appointed and the welcome was genuine and warm. Our server was friendly without being over familiar and we felt valued and cared for. The food was outstanding. We both opted for T Bone steaks, medium rare and they were perfect - the steak was delicious and stayed warm until we finished. I would definitely make that selection again, mine was mouthwarteringly good.We were waited upon promptly without feeling like we were being crowded or rushed, we were very impressed with everything and highly recommend this establishment.
