Monkeybean in Cherwell

Never been until this visit. Coffee was excellent and the choice of food looked great. We'll be back.

Lovely location, lots of outside space to enjoy the sun, while having coffee and amazing cake (the bakewell slices are a winner!) Friendly staff and quick service.(We arrived 45mins before closing so cannot rate the hot food selection, but will be back)

What an amazing cafe. The food is delicious and well cooked. My hot chocolate was amazing and the staff are brilliant and very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Signage on roadside (cafe itself is around 200 - 300m from the roadside down a track made of what looks like gravel and tarmac plannings) states cafe open till 3.00 pm. So we were very surprised to be declined food when we turned up at 2.05pm - apparently they stop serving food at 2.00pm. Drinks and some cakes only from then. We were touring on a motorbike so probably took 5 minutes or more to travel down their track and then to take all our gear off - only to then be told we were 5 minutes too late. Poor service.

We discovered eve MonkeyBean Coffee Shop whilst out on a walk, and what a delightful find it was! The breakfast bap was really delicious and the tea/coffee hit the spot. The shop was clean and tidy with a nice atmosphere and the staff were all friendly and polite.

Delicious coffee, great cakes, lovely inside and outside. Dog-friendly inside and outside, and outdoor area too. We will definitely be back! Pity it's not open on Sundays as they would definitely do well.

I had slightly higher hopes for this café, it's essentially located in a storage facility with heavy trucks coming and going. Was under the impression there was a view on the landscape, instead very muddy car park with large shipping containers sprawled around. Coffee is good, but not amazing. I wish it was located a bit farther away from the storage area and perhaps adopted more of a rustic vibe, would have greatly improved.

The most delicious moist and scrummy cakes ever. Have tried the rocky road flapjack and carrot and almond cake all wonderful. Highly recommended especially after a lovely dog walk. There are many great dog walks starting at the cafe some with amazing views as good as anywhere in the country.

Anna and her team are fantastic. The outside space added to the already perfect Coffees House, provides a great facility and we cannot thank Anna enough for her commitment over recent months. Highly recommended

My photo shows the door but with waiting in these times a dozen people arrived. It must be good then. Breakfast big batch, bacon, sausage, egg and red onion,1 small, 2 coffees, fresh produce, cooked and presented to take of site. You know it was car park and another trip through the door for more, and cake. REAL CYCLIST HEAVEN ! Give me carrot cake
