Best Chinese restaurant in Oxford 👌 the food is always beautiful, very quick delivery and delivery driver's are very nice people

Poor food, very disappointing. Called to tell them but they were not interested. Never going back there for sure.

Not my favourite in Banbury. Wanted crispy shredded chicken not chopped up chicken breaded fillet. Basics like rice were good.

I've ordered from Mr Rice quite a few times in the last year. Every meal has been delivered on time and the delivery person has been polite. The food is good (I wouldn't have returned for more if it wasn't) according to family members from 18 to 72. Thank you. And randomly I told them it was my birthday when I ordered the most recent takeaway and not only did they add some fortune cookies but the driver/deliveryman wished me a happy birthday. Would definitely recommend. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars? Honestly I'm not sure what 5 stars represents, possibly someone arrives, dishes out the food and then gives a talk about the origins of the restaurant, the provenance of the ingredients and then disappears in a cloud of smoke. Nice work Mr Rice, much appreciated.

It was my step dads 70th Birthday we decided to have a Chinese take away delivered to our door. This was the first time in ordering food with Mr Rice and will not be the last. Absolutely amazing service and delivery and the food was very hot and delicious 5 star to all involved In our order. Thank you very much for making a birthday very special.

Really enjoyed my crispy duck tonight. Good portion size, crispy and very tasty. Also, a generous amount of cucumber and onion. Really delicious. Good price, friendly service and bang on time. Thank you. Pic is of the duck added to my lush salad. 😍

Rice not included with curry. Bit ironic considering the name of the restaurant. Food wasn't even cooked fresh. It was reheated. Delivery driver was very rude. Told me to order earlier in the night because he can't be bothered to make deliveries after 11 o'clock. I ordered at 10.45 and it says they shut at 11. He was basically saying that he can't be bothered to do his job. His overall demeanour was hostile and rude. Absolutely disgraceful. No way to speak to a paying customer. We won't be ordering from them again.

Yesterday I ordered a chicken noodle soup, chef special Mongolian chicken and plain rice that was delievered to my home. The whole meal was delicious.The only thing I would mention is that for delivery we must spend over £10 but then to actually have the meal delivered it costs an extra couple of pounds on top of that.I had to buy curry sauce that I didn't want and I threw in the bin for £1.50 as my meal initially came to £9.80 and I needed 20 pence more to make £10 but the cheapest item was the curry sauce.They did send me chopsticks as requested though.4/5 stars - because of the sting on delivery payment. I will eat from here again but maybe il pick it up next time.

Mr rice has gone down hill lately, last few times I've ordered from here my food hasn't been to its usual quality of standards. Will be using the good chef from now on until improvements are made. A complete waste of money as food isn't edible the whole thing tastes reheated!

absolutely AWFUL service. we were celebrating Mothers day this weekend and part of our gift to our mum was buying her a chinese takeaway. There was a large group of people and we spent a significant amount of money and they wouldn't deliver, which hindered some people from drinking the wine as the food had to be picked up. Also, they forgot a significant amount of food, they forgot two meals, the chicken balls, which were an important part of the meal. We rang up and they said that they would be delivered in 45 minutes. After an hour and a half, they hadn't shown up, so we rang AGAIN. They refused to deliver our food and said that they would send us a cheque through the post to refund us... which is quite inconvenient and probably unlikely. The staff were appallingly rude and food was average. I would avoid this takeaway if i were you.
