Spacious restaurant with busy atmosphere. Great for a party or celebration. My cheese cake dessert was awesome.

Went to a birthday party there and it was not well suited. The waiting staff concentrated on the guests in the restaurant but neglected the people in the room for the party. The food was ok but have had better. Ordered a milkshake menu said was "made with extra thick ice cream", by the time it arrived it was little more than milk. I will not return. It was not good value for the money.

Well, they said get there 545 to avoid two big parties coming in later. So we were there 545 and had finished our starter by 615. The main course then didn't come until nearly 720. It was nice, but having waited so long I'd have eaten anything. If we go again we'll avoid Saturdays.

If I could give one and a half stars I would! I think this place works better when it's busy as today it was quiet and the service was poor. Disappointed to find they didn't have what I wanted for a main course so made another choice of a cheese omelette. Why why why did I even start eating it, it looked awful, like rubber and tasted of nothing. Maybe I was hungry after waiting some time! The four of us decided we would like a sweet and asked for a menu, ten minutes or more later no one had come so went to the bar to order. Two of us looking forward to creme brulee, they didn't have any, second choice cheesecake, only one flavour. I see on their takeaway menu there are 5 or 6 choices! When your taking someone out for lunch you want it to be a pleasant experience this was very hit and miss! Won't be rushing back!

Twas the night before hogmany, the 30th ... We met our fellow foodie friendd for our final meal of the year and were delighted by every aspect of this fine and well frequented restaurant. Service, ambience, fine Italian fare and general satisfaction is what makes this a five star stop.

I attended with friends for a "Tribute act/meal ". The service, mainly by very young, inexperienced staff, was at best awful. The plates were literally thrown across the table and when making a request we were grunted at. The food was very poor and four out the main meals were not eaten. When this was brought to the Managers attention, they were hostile and aggressive. I had a tray of drinks spilt all over a brand new outfit. The Manager came over and said "Bring it in I'll have it laundered. When I explained that it would cost me more in fuel to make the journey 4 times to drop off and then collect, no alternative offer was made to compensate. The highlight of the evening was when the "Tribute act" got a young lad (customer) up to offer him the chance to perform in front of an audience. He was brilliant and actually far better than the person we had paid to listen to. We left early, the night already ruined and would suggest that in order to make as much money as possible, they had crammed in as many people as possible, and could not cope with the volume. Greedy!Overall very poor food and service and would not recommend to anyone 😕

Average at best in my opinion. Very nice place and good size portions but not the most authentic tasting Italian food. The tomato sauce with my Calzone tasted like cream of tomato soup and there was far too much of it. The service was disjointed, staff leaning across people to serve / take plates away.

Good quality food, pleasant atmosphere, attentive service.Good selection of classic Italian pizzas and pastas and specials, including seafood options. High quality ingredients. The prices are probably at the top end of what you would want to pay; I would have given it 4.5 stars for this reason.

What can I say a beautiful restaurant, wonderful staff, good food and Freddy Mercury for entertainment

One of the best Italians around. This Italian does some of the nicest food around Wetherby. If you eat in or takeaway the quality of food is fantastic. It is very reasonably priced too.The range on the menu is very broad but still has true Italian feel. The choice of drink if that’s alcoholic or soft is really good. Sant’ Angelo’s also offers a great ice cream bar that has a variety of choices of different flavours. The restaurant is a good location with free parking a 1 minute walk away. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very good and the staff are all very friendly. They offer a choice of seating both indoor and outdoor which is perfect for the warmer nights.I would highly recommend a visits or a takeaway from Sant’ Angelo’s!
