If you're happy to wait an hour for your food then it won't bother you. Staff aren't friendly either but that could be because they are rushed off their feet.

This place is the halfway house when I travel between Lincolnshire and Portsmouth (avoiding the M25!). Always made welcome and they're dog friendly with a field behind the pub to exercise him in. Good beer and good food.

A lovely little country pub. Good food and drink. The staff were lovely and looked after all guests.

We can't fault this place. The staff are very welcoming, and the food is amazing. It's the first time we have stopped with our motorhome, but we will definitely be back. 😁❤️

We stopped here on our way back from seeing a family relative. My mother and grandmother think very highly of the service but I’ve only been here once just before all the lockdowns. The decor could have done with updating a bit but the food was lovely and no complaints from about the staff.

A lovely country pub. The food is great, and reasonably priced. They have a good, solid wine list and a comprehensive range of drinks. But what really shone was the lovely staff and the friendly service that they provide.

Nice big car park, lovely pub, great atmosphere. Food was excellent. Staff were brilliant. This was our second visit in our motorhome and it won't be our last, we look forward to returning. Can highly recommend. Bonus dog friendly.

..a perfect match for campervan owner ,the food is good and big portion, the views are amazing and the stuff is super friendly and if you like to stay over night in your campervan you are more than welcome to do so..I would recommend this restaurant/pub to everyone

A really good meal in a lovely location!It was a hot Easter bank holiday, so we thought we'd cycle to a country pub for an early evening meal. The Chequers was well reviewed so we had high hopes: rest assured we were not disappointed when we arrived. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the real ale choice was limited but the Gales Seafarers and Fullers London Pride were both solidly quaffable. The starters and mains were all of a high standard yet reasonably priced. I will happily come back and am equally happy to recommend this place to you.
