The Dashwood Restaurant and Bar in Cherwell

Fantastic atmosphere, family friendly country pub with great food and incredible service. Lovely atmosphere both inside and out in the garden, would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed evening out.

Friendly landlord who kept the bar open when he was wishing to close for the afternoon, just to let us have a drink in the pleasant sunny (then) garden. Lovely village to wander around.

Such a loverly place and very friendly staff. The room was nice and good value. The food was delicious, Definitely will return. Dog friendly aswell

I visited The Dashwood- Kirtlington today with my daughter. So welcoming. Our food was delicious and the wine excellent. Highly recommend. Dog and child friendly outside space covered in poor weather. Staff attentive. Enjoy when you visit . 🍾

This is what quality country pub food and service should be all about. Just the right amount of creativity to refresh pub standards, some exotic menu flourishes (but nothing outlandish) and simply fantastically executed roasts (best I've had in a decade). Service absolutely impeccable. Atmosphere to match. Great walks around (including Dashwood Estate and Ricer Cherwell and an intriguing quarry. ,,

Dog friendly. Family of all sizes and ages welcomed. Lovely service and great tasting food presented beautifully. Warming atmosphere and a well designed pub with beautiful traditional features. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent place to stop for a quick bite. We had 3 Dashwood Burgers and 1 jackfruit burger. All were excellent and the staff were attentive.Visited on a Saturday and was quite quiet between 12:00 and 13:30 but started to fill up after that.Highly recommended.

I visited the Dashwood Arms with my family and the food was absolutely fantastic. The Wellington roast was by far the best roast dinner I've had in a long time. My starter was also delicious and beautifully presented. Kudos to the chef's! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely be returning when I'm next in town.

We called there as we were on a narrow boat holiday and needed to eat .After a healthy walk we arrived early and were given a table. What a delight. Superb food, attentive service,great bottle of wine, just a top class evening . An unexpected delight and totally memorable.Thanks to all at the DashwoodJohn Rouse and family
