Popped in on Hornton Open Gardens day, not expecting to get a table as we hadn’t booked, but we did and lucky us! Their Sunday lunch was absolutely gorgeous and the staff so friendly, attentive and welcoming. We ate inside but outside looked delightful! Heated teepee tent, outdoor bar, TV and with views overlooking the delightful, ironstone church. Heavenly pub in a stunning village; such a find!

Had a lovely meal outside in the spacious garden. She is celliac but every meal is gluten free by default. I had a steak and chips which was excellent and a pint of Hooky. The Landlady was extremely helpful and very friendly. Can't wait to return.

Wow where to start with the roast , beautifully cooked meat chicken /beef full of flavour. Roast veg properly roasted, greens not overcooked , cauliflower cheese delicious. Gravey rich and tastyLovely beer garden nice viewGreat friendly serviceTotally recommended. :)

We booked last minute and they happily catered for us, even when we arrived slightly early. Staff are very friendly and the food is amazing! Such a lovely location and the garden area is well kept

We took my mum out for a birthday meal after trying to find somehwere a little different this gem popped up!Would highly recommend a visit.They have amazing food for a very good price and friendly staff too.Plus the covid safety precautions are brilliant and a beautiful bell tent to keep you warm and dry while you dine.We'll definitely be coming back

Cannot recommend the Dun Cow highly enough. Lisa the owner/chef is an absolute pleasure, and she can whip up some amazing dinner. Much more than traditional pub food, she uses fresh, local ingredients to make great combinations. I had the Lamb Burger with capers and sheep's cheese in it, and my girlfriend had the salmon with basil, hazelnuts, and red peppers.And they have a great selection of beers, including a local favorite 'Old Hooky'. If I could give it more stars, I would. Great pub, even better people. All at a great price too!
