Place never had a good pub Atmosphere , people seemed to be enjoying food , and singer was great , but didn't feel like your local pub, so sorry , but will def come back , probably a quiet night

Fantastic and amazing food, been to expensive restaurants and doesn't compare to the quality of the food. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, it's very clean and a beautiful classic English pub will definitely be returning

Stayed overnight in our Campervan electrical hook up available but we didn't require it, lovely meal had an excellent Malbec with our steaks, Staff & locals friendly.

Beautiful pint of Hooky and amazing food! Lovely sunny day in October in the garden, I had Windys Pie and my wife had the fish and chips. Excellent pie and mash, tasty veg with a little extra surprise in there. Fish was delicious and crispy, can't wait to go back again

Amazingly friendly and accommodating staff. Stayed in the car park in our camper van but enjoyed a delicious meal in front of a real log fire to keep us warm, and accompanied by live music. Would recommend.

Went to the Gate Hangs High for a pub lunch with my Austin Seven Car Club. There were over 20 of us sitting for lunch and the meal was served very efficiently and was extremely fresh and tasted delicious huge slices of lovely roast beef amazing Yorkshire pudding and beautiful roast potatoes all served with a smile thank you

Thrilled to find the chef makes his own pies. Beautiful pastry and filling. We drove past and called in on spec. The dining room is spacious so we had no worries about social distancing and Covid security. Hand Sanitizers on bar. Landlord genuinely welcoming. Plenty of parking.
