Great menu with lots of choice. My food was served quickly and was piping hot. Lovely staff who give good recommendations and know the menu well. Easy parking.

The food was top notch. Loses a couple of stars because it’s a bit pricey and we were crammed in a small room which was bulging with customers and no ventilation so obviously as the meal progressed it became hotter and very uncomfortable. There was another room but they seem to cram everyone into the smaller one. Sorry but there won’t be a second visit.

Food was tasty, flavoursome this place takes some beating

Id been hoping to try this place ourt for 2 years, and finally made it this June - what a fantastic restaurant! The portions are very big, so you dont need to order too much, but i wish i could have because there was so much to try - many dishes id never heard of.I highly recommend the spicy Bengal fish curry (speciality house dish), and my son was very happy to have chicken nuggets and chips as he didnt want spicy..Thanks goes to all the staff, who were super friendly, professional, and full of smiles and good humour - it made for a great evening.. This is now going to be my go-to place for authentic indian food!

Went last night and very disappointed with the food and the service… very small portions and naan bread was more like a Small thin base pizza not like an elephant ear like a normal naan bread. I asked for Bombay potatoes and It came out like curry sauce with one potato in it. Service was poor as our waiter was more interested in the conversations that was going on in the restaurant then listening to us and what we were ordering will not be going again

My mum, husband and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time tonight, and what a lovely dining experience we had! A special thanks to our wonderful waiter Jabz who looked after us, he gave an excellent warm friendly service and went above and beyond. Also a special thanks to the chef for the gorgeous food. We’re excited to come back again soon.

Drove past a couple of times to work and decided to visit it one of the evenings. I was welcomed in by Friendly staff. I chose the tandoori mixed grill and a side of chicken pakora, I couldn’t fault it, good quality food. See you soon 🙌🏻 thanks again

Nice location, parking and good ambience, comfortable seating. Food not so great, too much red colour added to all items in the mixed grill, and prawns, chilli paneer was good. It's a Bangladeshi restaurant not Indian

We hadn't been back to the Indian Queen since before the covid lockdown, so were looking forward to a revisit for my partner's birthday. In my opinion, it's one of the best Indian restaurants in the Midlands - including Leicester and Birmingham.Himself started with his favourite - the onion bhajis are amazing. I had vegetable samosas. Our mains were chicken thawa (him) and chicken achanac (for me), and we shared a garlic fried rice. All the dishes were amazing: and the bonus is - no excess oil, fantastic flavours and you're able to request that a curry that is milder (or hotter) than shown on the menu. For me, the thawa was too mild but still full of flavour. I'd not had an achanac before but it was right up my street: cooked with coriander, then covered in fresh coriander. Warm and spicy with fresh ginger (?) it was delicious. We decided we didn't have room for dessert, but himself had mentioned that it was his birthday and a chocolate cake, topped with a flaming candle. We brought the rest home.At only 35 minutes from home, we've definitely going back more often.

Curry is the nations favourite and I wanted to try out what I have heard refered to as the best curry in Banbury.LocationBit of a drive for this one out to Wroxton area, which on a cold rainy Saturday was not the nicest. But once there the car park is fairly large and the restaurant shines brightly in the dark winter eve.InteriorFor me, nothing special, the tables are clean and well presented but there wasn't a wow factor on decor. Not bad at all, just not great. We even had a little electric fan behind our table so they must get complaints about the draughts.ServiceSaturday night is a busy night but we found the entire service to be rather slow, taking a while to order, to clear the Poppadom plates, to serve the mains and eventually clear the mains. It wasn't a disaster but 2 hours for Poppadoms and a main is lengthy. Lucky I loved the company I was with ❤️. The team are however super friendly, welcoming and well presented so apart from beings super busy with all the customers no issue here.Food/drinkWe had so much food and honestly every dish was amazing and full of flavour. I won't comment on each but we had:Poppadoms & Chutney trayChicken Tikka Masala - sauce was next level sweet without being sicklyVeg masalaLamb rogan josh - a good kick to this and lamb was so tenderChicken korma - I could drink the coconut based sauceChicken Towa - but dryer but packed with flavourVeg bhunaSaag Paneer - show stealer for me, more sauce than any other I have every had but the spinach and paneer combo with the sauce was just mindblowing!Plain & peshwari naanDrinksStandard drinks menu, we weren't here for the drinks so a pint of Cobra or Kingfisher works nicelyPriceAt under £20 per head including drinks I am not complaining. It isn't winning awards for being cheap but it is for the value of the food vs the cost.OverallA solid curry had by all, the big question about best in Banbury? There are lots of others I have yet to try. I would say this place is up there currently and I will be back again but I am not convinced it's number one just yet!
