Pleasant pub by the canal, certainly nice to sit outside in the warm weather, enjoy a drink and watch the ducks go by.

Came here because of multiple vegan options on the menu. Quick food service, I had the vegan burger and it was really good. Sat and worked on the tables right next to the canal for a while - good free WiFi! Recommended for vegans 👍

Greag little place, can't wait to come back with some nice sunny weather and sit outside next to the canal/river.Came for lunch, the food was good & the service matched.There's a little space for parking right out the front but also a decent car park beside it, so even when they're packed I'd imagine be fine.

Beautiful on a sunny day with plenty of canal-side seating. We had the Sunday carvery and both ale and ciders. A hidden gem full of atmosphere!

Great location right by the canal. Lovely sunny spot. Peaceful watching the boat's go past. Good choice of drinks and food, big portions. We had the Sunday Carvery and is the best that we have ever had. Would definitely recommend.

Both the food and service was excellent here. Looking forward to going back in the summer to enjoy the longer evenings.

Service was good wine was nice food was nasty the people on the next table said the same if you like microwave food your fine!!!In response to the operator of the restaurant…We visited last night booking was used under the name Maria at 6pm after a recommendation by our hotel. My fiancé sent her bread roll back as it was wet another roll was sent out hard as if it had been very overcooked. The steak and Stilton suet pudding was hard and almost certainly microwaved. It’s a shame as the service was good a nice pub but let down by the food!

Great food and table service! Had a lovely time. Only downside is that they aren't allowed to make cocktails. But the food is truly amazing. I had the rump steak with stilton sauce and it was cooked to perfection. Waiters/waitresses are polite and friendly. I recommend this place!

Canal side with plenty of spac to moor and only a short walk from The main Thrupp moorings.Food was good, had chicken and bacon pie, in a proper case which is always a big bonus.Not a huge selection of ales but ones available were safe quality beers.

Very accommodating with pleasant staff. Good choice of ales and served well. Out meals were hot tasty and well presented. Allowed to take our dog in with us.
