The Kings Arms in Cherwell

So, I am a regular customer of the wonderful establishment and happen to be in twice this week. Tony is a bit of legend and brings a quality product to the market in terms of what's on offer at the Kings Arms Charlton Hawthorne. In terms of the rooms, restaurants and bars and the parking. But the lady manager is the best in the business. Getting to know her customers and working around dietry requirements, and table choices and all. A seriously fantastic operator who is Chantelle(hope I got the name spelt right). Keep up the good work team Kings Arms Charlton Hawthorne 😁

We were passing through, starving hungry so stopped for pub grub. But this was far superior to any pub food, it was amazing! The Lebanese salad was full of flavour, beautifully presented and a very generous portion. And the stone baked pizza was so rich in flavour and perfectly cooked! Delicious. Wish you were our local

Had a very enjoyable two night stay here. Very nice accommodation, breakfast, dinner and service. Lovely to meet Monty 😄

They sell wonderful own made bread on Saturday mornings, we bought two loavesDelicious!

We had a nice meal here but unfortunately it didn’t blow us away, for the price we expected more. My steak was undercooked (very rare) and very fatty and chewy. The service was almost a little too good as we were asked for drinks before we sat down and had a chance to look at the menu.

Great food, and service..only thing I would say is check your allergies with staff before ordering. Some of there lovely food may not have ALL the ingredients listed. However they are only too happy to accommodate to your request.

Fantastic evening meal. Excellently cooked food, with a few different elements that made particularly interesting! Particularly pleased with the host who was careful to ensure that we were comfortable, well looked after and enjoying our experience. We sat in the outside area which was lovely in the summer evening, with heaters for warmth as needed.

Lovely hotel and great serviceFood was great................the flat iron steak was fantastic!Rooms where nicely decorated, furnished well and comfortable my only comments would be you can hear the toilets and showers in the other rooms, the rooms are very warm and if you leave the window open the passing traffic at speed is noisy. Granted a large air con unit was available in the room but this had to be vented through the window. The rooms lacked in quality and attention to detail for a five star rating and the price was high.

Nice place and nice staff unhurried service and nice food. Disappointed with my starter of scallops as only had 2 small scallops at £10 not impressed.Garden seating nice but struggled to hear friends talking due to some machinery on site.Some very good art work inside for sale.
