Extremely pleasant welcome for our party which included two little ones. Really lovely looking Carvery set out. We ordered and were served in minutes. Meat and vegetables all very fresh and tasty, gravy, proper gravy. The place was buzzing by about 12.15 on a January Sunday but the staff maintained their good humour and politeness. They obviously care, they deserve our custom. If there was a minor quibble the food cooled quite quickly, but hey, it's January! The bill was extremely reasonable, we'll be back.

Great food, even better service. The lady was friendly, funny. Made our night

Met up with family for lunch. I found it a wonderful place. For the price the food is really good, my niece described hers as the best burger ever. The staff were great; friendly and cheerful. There's a bar area and restaurant area. We were sat in the bar area because of a function in the restaurant. They had the football on the big screen but it was quiet enough for us to talk across the table. Only thing I'd complain about was the result of the football!Would definitely go back.

Great customer service. Beef was extremely tough. It was mentioned in passing to the staff and immediately we were refunded without question. Highly recommend this just on this basis.

Decent pub. Staff are polite and attentive. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Excellent service from staff members, great food and lovely attention throughout our time dining there. Always have a, few "special meals" on offer which is a nice change to expirience. A great out door area and plenty of parking also.

Had family dinner at The Nightingale last night and the food and service was amazing. Very attentive floor manager, advising on menu and drinks etc. Place was fairly busy but we didn't wait too long for our freshly cooked meals. Delicious. Great at too.

It's a nice pub, and the staff were great, but there was no Covid safety indoors at all. When I visited, there was live music playing, so the pub was packed. Although you could sit outside and order drinks via WhatsApp (as long as you already know what's in stock!) you still had to force your way through a crowd of people to get to the loos at the back of the pub. Social distancing wasn't remotely an option, so didn't feel safe at all. If you don't care about that - it's a great pub!

Friendly staff, great food, great service despite C-19 restrictionsEnvironment: We've started going out after Covid. Whilst we all appreciate the new recommendations are bit of a pain, they are absolutely necessary. The guys here have done a good job and are doing the right things: pre-booked tables, one way system, hand sanitiser on entry, temperature testing on entry, well spaced out tables.Service: Friendly welcome and everything explained. The place was packed (Tuesday evening for EOTHO) and the staff were really busy, but they all had time to listen and spend a little time chatting and being welcoming.Food: It's a pub on an estate, not a full on restaurant. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much and I've had some shocking food at other places. We ordered from the table via WhatsApp to avoid queuing at the bar. Worked really well. I had a chicken and mush pie and chips; pie was great, chips were awesome and I had a gravy boat to myself. My wife had a veg tart with extra salad, which she said was lovely and crunchie and fresh. Nice couple of pints of Hobgoblin which appeared to be kept well. All in all a great experience and I shall be visiting again. Thanks guys!
