Lovely pub in the Oxfordshire country side Good choice of food and ale. Staff are welcoming and Attentive. Approx £20 for a two course meal.

We were at a private party. They are currently closed on Mondays. They produced a delicious meal for us with three choices of main course - steak and kidney poe, salmon or veggie lasagne. (Lovely). Nothing was too much trouble. Very enjoyable evening following a book launch at Broughton Castle. England From a Side Saddle by Derek J Taylor

Fantastic little village pub. Stopped by for a meal, traditional pub fayre. But very tasty beautifully presented and staff and locals extremely helpful and friendly, we arrived fairly early and the whole place smelt extremely clean, definitely observing covid rules and felt very safe.We have recently lost our village pub, and for a Friday night it was quiet, it looks like the only pub in the village, so come on locals use it because you will be very sad to lose it.Definitely worth a visit

Its a lovely welcoming pub. Food is tasty, plentiful and is value for money. The service was excellent and didn't have to wait long, once ordered and we were a part of 26. There is a lovely private beer garden at the rear. Definitely a place to go if your in the area

Lovely location with shady beer garden for the hot summer days. Good range of fresh sandwiches although lunch finishes at 2 pm so be quick if your looking for a later snack around the middle of the day

Stopped for post hospital pub lunch as my daughter was hungry. We loved the food and the service, I had a roast beef sandwich with side salad - it was perfect. I am very fussy about salad and generally don't like ice-berg lettuce but this was chilled to the perfect temperature which elevated it to another level, the flavours stood out and the coleslaw was lovely, not overly creamy or clergy. We both enjoyed the chips and her fish gujons were fabulous and the batter light and not over coked. We were in a hurry to get her back to school some distance away so couldn't stay for pudding but I have already promised to bring her back.

A very warm welcome, one of our party is in a wheelchair and that was no issue at all. Gorgeous food, delightful service, we will definitely be back.
