The Three Pigeons Inn in Cherwell

I used to go to this pub 45 years ago, when there were only two pigeons. We thoroughly enjoyed Sunday lunch. Good food and service.

Regular Monday night visits with a good friend. Staff are lovely. Cosy place to sit with a drink and have a good chat. Always receive a genuine welcome

We were at The Three Pigeons for a funeral wake today. The pub itself is very traditional with lots of options of spaces to use. The staff couldn’t have done more for us all and were so friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing….how they managed to provide such consistent fish & chips on such a large scale is incredible. This pub is a real gem in the centre of Banbury. Thank you for looking after us all so well.

We (4 friends) enjoyed a lovely festive meal which was very considerately paced according to our wishes. The food was very tasty, well presented in a comfortable and traditional setting. We had a lovely night here. The rooms were beautiful and well maintained. The staff and owner were great, very human in fact, which created an intimacy in the place. The breakfast was yum! Highly recommended if your visiting Banbury.

Excellent service and lovely fresh food. Myself and my partner visited recently after not visiting for 5 years. Staff are very welcoming and food was very fresh and home made like. We've booked again for Christmas week :)

I never stayed there just went for a Sunday lunch ...it was terribly the veg was cold no gravy Yorkshire pudding was tough and the chicken was dry and tasted like pork so I won't be rushing back. And the three people I went with said it was the worst Sunday lunch they had ever had so it wasn't just me that though it was rubbish.

We had a really wonderful one night stay at 3 Pigeons. Staff were super lovely and helpful! Our room was delightful - very clean, comfortable and very well decorated and furnished. Great location too for the heart of the town. Good value all round - would highly recommend if you want a top stay in Banbury. Well done 3 Pigeons!

Great food, we had the veggie Sunday roast and the best chocolate brownie my wife has ever had. And I had 2 very nice pints of beer. The dogs were very relaxed in the spacious court yard garden.

Nice pub great food and attentive staff. The open courtyard at the back was a lovely sun trap to meet up with friends. A well presented clean and tidy town pub, will definitely visit again.
