·

Very nice pub under new management in the centre of Deddington. Friendly and welcoming.

Had an afternoon drink here, which was good. Then booked a meal for the evening. Very few staff on duty at night and they apparently had a function booked, so bar was very busy. Waited over 45 minutes after ordering and still no meal (or apology) so we gave up and left.

Nice decor, modern clean, large beer garden and very good food. Real chicken breast in my burger, very well cooked fennel touches on the salad. Excellent work.

Great little place, clean, tidy, very friendly staff with nice and friendly friends and daily customers of the place.Young guys as Manager of the place who takes care of everything himself,... welcoming customers allocating them in to their rooms, bar tender, floor head waiter and food runner, ... he is an awesome hard worker. This place gives evening and night pub with some life music sometimes, allocated a nice and peaceful square with street market on Saturdays.Lovely place to spent a few days off.I will be back.

Had a wonderful meal tonight to celebrate my daughter Charlotte's birthday. The service was excellent. The food superb. The layout for covid19 protocol clear. Large outdoor seating. Covered area, kept most of the rain away. Glad you are back open. We've decided to frequent the Unicorn for family meals, as half way between our two areas of living . Brilliant. Thank you.

Called into the Unicorn on the off chance of having a small bite to eat. The staff were really accommodating and attentive. I am a coeliac and the food was amazing and the portion was exceptional which is very unusual. Would totally recommend and visit again.

Went for a couple of pints and the bar manager was really good and friendly, weather was rubbish however and they could have done with extra umbrellas and heaters , hopefully that no longer applies as we can be indoors as well as outdoors now . Cheers 🍻

Disappointing. Cold, empty, no ales, only food was a jacket potato which looked like it had been cooked the day before. Served a glass of wine half full, had to go and ask for it to be filled up to the line. Understand that there are delivery issues because of Covid but could have lit the fires, turned on the radiators and been a bit more welcoming. Shame.

It's an amazingly, cozy and beautiful place. In all seasons the decorations makes it seems BEAUTIFUL. The owner is super friendly and welcoming makes you feel welcome and so comfortable like you're in your own house. It's a place YOU HAVE to visit. And the food is also delicious and some recipes are unique to this place.
