IF YOU'RE A FRIES FAN, THIS IS A MUST TRY!! I was seeking out really good fries after a burger place has closed in kidlington. My wife is very picky when it comes to fries (not soggy, not oily & not undercooked). I was pleasantly surprised just how well presented and fresh these takeaway fries are!! Reasonably priced and a generous portion will definitely have them again. Very good customer service too which is always a +. They updated me consistently that my fries were almost done so I wasn't left unattended to. I'm very grateful for such a good local cafe!

We have just had the most amazing afternoon tea early fathers day gift for my husband. Truly delicious and presented so nicely. Plus lovely service so helpful. Definitely recommend. Thank you.Tracey

A hidden gem! This place is tucked away and is probably unknown even to locals because there's no signage making it visible from the main road. Fantastic food and service. I highly recommend.

Staff very welcoming and friendly and full English breakfast was fantastic and residents that live there were also friendly would highly recommend this place and will definitely return

We went as a family and the staff were really accommodating to our needs. I had the New York Chicken and would highly recommend it, it was perfectly cooked and the sauce made the dish. The other thing that made the Willow Tree exceptional was the fact that they have various puddings four of which are served with custard, this is something I am very passionate about and hate menus that only have rubbish non custard inclusive dessert menus.

Arrive at 11.29 and order a breakfast. Am told that I can't have it because breakfast stops at 11.30. By the time we've finished debating the ridiculousness of this it's 11.32 so she then points to the clock to reinforce her point. Why does an otherwise apparently excellent establishment have to be spoiled by pettiness.Edit: upgraded to 3 stars after interaction with other friendly staff

Really lovely place to eat traditional English good home cooked food. Liver and onions. Quiche Lorraine. Great home made soups for lunch. Steak nights and Christmas menus available too

This is just such a wonderful place to stop for a coffee and more. The food is wholesome, the place is delightful and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I kind of want to keep it a secret, but guess I have to share.
