Torino Lounge in Cherwell

We had a lovely lunch here. The atmosphere was quite relaxed and warm. Ordering was done via QR code that navigated us to the Loungers menu website that proved navigable on the phone without fuss, annoying popups or awkwardly small controls to press though mobile data reception in the place wasn't the strongest.Our food and drinks were promptly served by very friendly welcoming staff. The house drinks were extremely refreshing on a very hot Tuesday. Both of us were delighted with our mains and sides that were cooked extremely well and tasted delicious. The chocolate and raspberry torte was delicious and a great option vegans or those wanting to enjoy something sweet but living with a lactose intolerance.As a dining experience, we had a wonderful time with no cause to complain so I have no reservations in recommending Torino Lounge for a good place to eat in Bicester. You only need to bear in mind that at present, it doesn't take bookings so you will have to play it by ear as we missed out the first time on an early Saturday afternoon where there was an hour wait. The Tuesday afternoon had a few free tables.

Average breakfast. My previous review was 5* now only 3* till it improves back to original stands (see my older photos). We did return recently for breakfast and avocado 🥑 brunch wasn’t the same - half portion size to what it used to be. I also tried shakshouka which tasted ok, portion a bit small too and unfortunately the toast bread was stale … I didn’t complain in the end …Staff is very helpful and friendly, service was quick as we didn’t have to wait at all. Menu is tempting and we may return…Try yourself.

It was ok. The menu choice was good, and the food was tasty and came quickly. There was someone at the door who greeted us straight away and let us pick a table. The reason I didn't rank it higher was because it wasn't immediately obvious that we had to order from the bar, and no one told us that. So we sat for quite a while waiting for someone to take out order. Once I placed the order, my beer came a few minutes later, but then my wife's drink (pink lemonade) didn't come for nearly 10 minutes after that. If those 2 issues hadn't been there, I'd have given an extra star.

Wasn’t sure about this place in the past, but it’s really gotten good since I was last here. Had the tapas and it was absolutely choice. 3 per person was the perfect amount and it was amazingly cooked (the meatballs plus aubergine were a real highlight). Dan and Ryan were great servers too; couldn’t do enough for you. And the Hazy Jane on tap was spot on too.

Tapas and tea in the friendly, arty and calm atmosphere are great ways to spend Friday eve with a friend.

So came in for a quick bite to eat and the staff service was great! I ordered the big lounge breakfast with no tomato and mushroom and asked for extra hash browns instead (meat for meat, veg for veg).The food came fairly quick but was a little underwhelmed with it no black pudding as it says on the menu and has browns were a bit on the soft side. The savior of this breakfast was the the rest of it.There was no check back during the meal to see if everything was OK as I still haven't been able to tell the staff I had no black pudding

Really enjoyed our brunch today. All excellent. Gluten free options very good. Quick service.

I was not happy with my brunch. We arrived 4 of us and they didn't bother telling us there was no table service we had to scan a code and book through that, we repeatedly tried to get there attention and were ignored. We eventually found the code on our table and figured it out. There was very little effort put into our food. I had eggs Benedict, but the eggs were hard. My sister had avocado brunch which was not ripe avocado and tomatoes on two slices of bread no seasoning. It was just so disappointing and expensive.

My partner and I are working away at the moment so popped into town one evening looking for food but nothing too heavy, so this place ticked the boxes with Tapas on offer. I actually forgot to take pics of the food when it came out but it was very nice, along with great service. We sat out the front which is perfect on a summers evening for sipping drinks and experiencing the different tapas dishes on offer.

Really nice atmosphere with the decor. The servers were very helpful and efficient. There wasn't a long wait for the food even though it was busy. It was my first time going there and I would go again.
