Voujon in Cherwell

We really enjoyed our first visit and it won't be the last. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was great and restaurant was modern and vibrant.

Dined here with friends last night. We received a warm welcome to this lovely decorated venue. We decided on the Tuesday night Banquet meal and it was lovely. The portions are very big! and it was great value for money. The service was excellent and will be back again. Well Done to the team there. If I had one negative at all it was the cup of tea i had after the meal. It was not very nice and very stewed. Maybe offer a variety of teas and ask how guests would like it? But other than this, which was down to my particular taste in Tea, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening.

Delicious food, beautifully presented; bright modern decor; prices reasonable; staff friendly and helpful. Busy and popular on a Thursday night in December - good atmosphere. A great evening!

The WORST restaurant I've ever experienced. Poorly managed. I had the Balti, it was bland. We were part of a party & my daughters food came out 20 minutes after everyone else's. Parts of our order never turned up & the 2 & a half hour wait for the flavourless food was diabolical. Not one member of staff checked back. Staff were all rude, no one at the bar yet 3 members of staff there & completely ignored me waiting to order drinks. On the whole it lacked personality & service overall was shocking!!! Avoid this over priced restaurant

Never had a bad meal!!! Excellent food, service perfect, friendly staff, in fact would never even think of going elsewhere, especially when family come to stay, as they always look forward to at least one visit as they say that there is not an Indian restaurant in Scotland that comes up to this standard. Wish I was able to get there more often. Thankyou Voujon.

A fabulous feast of food!Tuesday night is a brilliant evening to sample this fine restaurant, they have a banquet special where you can enjoy any starter, any main, a veg side dish (between 2) and either any rice or a naan for £14.99. *there are a couple of restrictions or surpluses but mostly a free choice.My partner and I enjoyed:Poppadoms and pickles (£4.50 extra for 2 each)Vegetable samosasChicken ChaatVoujon Special RoganChasni TikkaSaag AluuPlain NaanI would say it was all packed with flavour, had a slight kick to it but was not overly spicy. The table next to us asked for spicy and the guys were in tears so I would assume you can get what you want you only need to ask. I personally prefer to enjoy my, not so spicy, meal!Service was a good pace, lots of attentive staff and the decor is very nice. The toilets are kept clean and I would say location wise its perfect with a car park outside and a short walk from the town centre.100% going to return and will be reccomending to many others. One of the best ever Indian meals we have ever had. Lovely restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, professional staff. The food was beautifully presented and the taste was exquisite. Just wish we lived in the area as we would frequent often. It was our first visit to Banbury and most certainly a reason to return.

Had the most beautiful banquet meal this evening Sat outside under a gazebo with a heater. The staff where really friendly and the service was great highly recommend 👌

First visit to this restaurant and it was gor a taster menu.as a take away. Selection A / B. Was lovely to have a selection.of items, some that I wouldn't normally select. Would do it again. Service was prompt and very polite.

Working away and decided to try this place out after been recommended by a guy in oub near by. Was not disappointed it was amazing. Never heard of chicken Alphonso but wow!!!! Was amazing .... the whole experience was top quality especially seen as i went on tuesday when they have a good offer on 4 courses but would have been happy paying full price. I heard other customers talking about their takeaway saying its the same quality as eating in.......am slightly jealous of the residents of Banbury
