Wimpy in Cherwell

A throwback to childhood when Wimpys were the only fast food, everything still tastes the same. Lovely clean restaurant with great staff and food freshly cooked to order.

Well worth the drive from Milton Keynes. First class service and food. Great decor and one of the cleanest places you will ever have the pleasure to eat in.

Great burger and chips! Hot, tasty and fast service!

I would give this place a 1 star, I went there with my friends last Sunday, and I asked for a cheeseburger. The guy asked if I wanted chips, and I said no thanks, because I thought it would cost extra money. When my food came, they brought me both burger and chips. I assumed they were free, so I ate them. Then we went to go and pay, they asked what I had and I said a burger. They asked if I had chips with it and I said yes, even though I didn’t even ask for them. The price with the burger alone was £3.90, even on the menu WITH chips would be £3.90 as well. Then, they said that It would he £6.10!!! I then handed over my money, however I wasn’t going to start an argument. If I would’ve asked for chips, I would’ve got them. It is very confusing, and from now on, I am no longer going to wimpy.

Was a lovely blast from the past. My dad took me to Wimpy as a treat when I was a kid.The food was really nice and a good price. The service was quick and polite. We'll definitely be back.

A reminder of my childhood. The staff were very nice and service was good . The classic burger was just how I remembered them being as I have not seen a wimpy in a long time . Loved it. Thank you

Thank you so much, you guys, for the nostalgic trip down memory lane😂😂😂 It has been 30 years since I had been to a Wimpy, I still recall the birthday parties of the 70s/80s! Professional staff, exceptionally clean and very COVID-19 aware. Ordered both the international grill and the wimpy grill, to which the server asked how many are eating😂 Just me! I managed to finish it all apart from the chips, but I so enjoyed every bite as I did in the 70s/80s. They were accommodating when I asked to modify the wimpy grill, just brilliant. And being a pig, I had to order the Bender in the Bun for old times sake, as a takeaway…. And the young gentleman had timed it perfectly for my collection, just as I had stuffed my face👍👏👏👏Also loved the modern diner decor. Would come here more often but I live miles away. Thanks, Wimpy Bicester, wish you all the best for the future. PS, I did polish off the final bender and the perfect egg👍👍👍

I ordered for takeaway tonight from JustEat. The service was excellent, we received the food in a very short time after ordering.The quality of the food is outstanding. The meat is very tasty and great quality. I have tried the cranberry and brie. They are definitely worth to try.Highly recommended for both families and couples who are looking for great food at a fair price.My last comment is about the curtesy of the staff. Every time we made an order the staff has always been kind and gentle.If you are looking for an amazing burger, Wimpy is the perfect place for you.

Good throwback food. Not the cheapest fast food, but everything is freshly cooked for you. The staff are friendly and the place is very clean. It's a good alternative when you are sick and tired of the normal. Apparently they do takeout and deliveries, but I've only ever eaten in.

My wife didn’t want to visit another wimpy at all after the last two wimpys I have taken her to in kent as they were terrible! The kids all bugged her (and me) to try another wimpy one more time and as we were in Bicester she reluctantly agreed as yours looked very welcoming and clean. I can’t thank you enough for changing her opinion. The food was hot, fresh, and came out quick. The milkshakes were lovely too, the kids just said that they should have a 6th star for tonight!! We will come back again soon.
