We enjoyed a traditional Sunday roast which was well cooked and we had excellent service from our waiter and all the staff

·

Good old fashioned traditional pub. Came here on a Sunday evening with my family, it was pretty late but food was still delicious and had no faults with the service. Big carpark so parking never seems an issue.

Stayed in a local Airbnb and the pub they recommended was fully booked. On our travels we passed the Bulls Head, so we thought we would try them. Absolutely brilliant service and the food was homemade and amazing. So pleased we found this little gem ! Returned again the next night and they didn’t disappoint. Staff are so welcoming and food ‘top notch’. Definitely recommend !

Bit of a "Step back in time" vibe to a first lunchtime visit in early February 2020. Don't be put off by the decor though; traditional pub values, friendly service, good beer, good food apply. It's a Fuller's pub so beer is not a problem. The Beef and Ale pie and Fish pie ordered were hot, home-made and delicious. Desserts were tempting and tasty. Not many vegetarian/vegan options is the only issue with the traditional pub menu. Well worth a visit, especially in summer I think.

The best pub in Fishbourne! The food is absolutely divine, service is superb and great staff. We do visit the pub at least once a month and we always have a brilliant time.

Had a Saturday lunch here with the family & the food and atmosphere were great. It wasn’t hectically busy, which meant we had a very pleasant meal. The beers were good (love a Fullers) & my roast duck special was delicious. Puddings we’re good too.The pub is also brilliantly located for a solid walk afterwards. There’s a duck pond at the end of the road which is great for the little kids. We’ll return without hesitation

First visit here for lunch which was excellent and we will certainly go back again. The staff were very friendly, the food was all fresh and cooked to perfection and we chose a rose' wine from Italy, great choice.Would highly recommend this place

This is a perfect place for lunch/ dinner after a visit to Fishbourne Roman Villa (a few hundred metres away). It's a charming traditional pub with plenty of parking, a nice beer garden and plenty of seating inside. Food was delicious, generous portions, lovely staff.
