Caffe Nero in Chichester

All round great customer service, thank you to the two gentlemen who served me. Very nice Coffee and Sarnie too.

The guy who served me was more interested in the young lady his friend was serving than me

Just been in to café Nero. I place my order and was served by a very nice polite young man. While I place my order the manager came over and in a raised voice gave the server a right telling off right in front of me. Shocked me how humiliating and embarrassing this was for the young man Not the right way to manage your staff or to run a business. Should have been delt with behind closed doors not Infront of the costumer.

Visited the cafe today at 4.30, two girls working. I was only after a bottle of water and the girl did not serve me. She acknowledged I was there however continued with other jobs - even going to tables? She had me waiting for 10 minutes until I asked can I be served just to be ignored by the other girl who also had her back to me. This girl however who refused to serve me for almost 15 minutes had blue/green hair with same coloured eye shadow. She was extremely rude and ignorant and definitely does not know how to work with people and communicate with customers.Really good at making customers wait though! Stood chatting with a man about shoes and a queue of 5 customers waiting!Both don’t do the job. Shocking.What made it worse I had my baby with me, she was totally ignorant of the fact that I was in a rush due to that too. Both of them started talking behind my back about the above review. How unprofessional and rude!! One of the girls seemed totally inappropriate and unprofessional of how she looked, clearly has reflected on her work behaviour and how she treats customers as well. Absolutely ridiculous. Such a shame cause the coffee and food is so nice but the staff ruin that. :(

Excellent friendly service from Josie at Caffè Nero in East Street, Chichester. A shame he was not in his usual flamboyant make-up.That will be missed. He brought so much character and funk and inviduality to the atmosphere.Shiela

This place used to be a nice coffee stop - not so much now : ( Coffee was way too hot.Waited an age to be served, declined the ‘smoother’ beans but was charged for them - didn’t have time to query it. Dirty tables everywhere. Last visit here for me, ciao and belle.

A nice and spacious place to be in. A small selection of books to read from the shelf which you don't often see in most cafes. Always something to nibble on even if you're not massively hungry.

I do love a bit of Nero’s while I’m in england! Nice range of Paninis, Chai latte and caramel waffles!
