Great family run restaurant, locally sourced produced and a Michelin chef - amazingly put together menu and we'll executed. Wines courtesy of Four Wall wines

Overdeliverd on every front, the welcome, the wine list, the meal was outstanding and the bill, for what we ate and drank, was a pleasant surprise. Really fantastic.

Great food wonderful ownerWe booked to visit at the end of our weekend away. The venue is in an interesting location (we missed it the first time) but rang the venue and found we were 300 yards away!Sunday is according to the owner not his favourite menu as it restricts them a little.I started with a superb terrine. Main was a beautifully cooked duck with a lovely jus, my partner was equally impressed with her pork.Dessert was quite sensationalAll dishes are presented superbly with real attention to detail.Extra kudos to the owner who does his job with real humour and care. He and his wife are clearly committed to the business and it shows in everything they do. He was a pleasure to chat to after the meal.Well worth the visitToilets small, but clean and functional.

Great hospitality and excellent dining experience. The menu seems limited on first glance, but there actually there was not a dish I wouldn't want to try. Superb presentation and service.

What a lovely gem of a restaurant. Staff couldn't be more accommodating and attentive. Food was beautifully displayed, tasty and the portion sizes were just right. Price was just right

On the outskirts of chichester this is a must go dinning experience. There are some amazing dishes being turned out of the kitchen with attentive professional service at front of house . I would say the best restaurant in and around the chichester area and at £42 for 3 courses per head is great value for fine dining.

Tried Cassons for a family get together on a Sunday lunchtime. Has a nice, cosy, country pub feel to it. Staff are friendly, courteous and professional. The food is very good, the roast beef that I had for my main was cooked to perfection and the red wine jus that it was served with was absolutely delicious! Prices are reasonable but commensurate with the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. Only deducting a point because the portion sizes of the appetisers were ridiculously small. Yes, I’m aware it’s the done thing to serve small portions on large plates with a smear of whatever sauce goes with the dish, but play to your strengths. The flavours of the various starters that our party ordered were all very good so make the portion sizes a little more reasonable so that people may properly enjoy them. This aside, highly recommended

Came for family celebration on a Sunday Lunch. Lovely food from the different starters (Selsey Crab, Scallops, Asparagus, Soups) to the traditional Sunday Roast options, Duck and Fish dishes. Tarte Tatin was well received, Sorbets were fresh, Delice was beautifully constructed. Staff looked after the younger members of our party really well. Thanks to all for a lovely lunch.

In town visiting from NYC and had a fantastic meal at Cassons. Each dish was creatively inspired, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The staff was helpful, laid back and unpretentious. What a treat!!! Thank you!

Came to Chichester to visit friends and they (thankfully) booked at Cassons! Greeted by very friendly staff and taken to a table in the corner, the restaurant was busy but we didn't feel crammed in and the noise was at a perfect level. We ordered the Sancerre which was beautiful...and had to order another!! The goats cheese was amazing and confess to using my finger at the end to get as much as possible haha! My main course was the mixed fish and could have happily eaten that twice!!! The only thing I wasn't so keen on was the mixed dessert, there was nothing wrong with it but wished I had gone for the Peach Mousse, heavenly!
