What a lovely place to stay, great location with car parking. The room was lovely with the most comfortable beds and the cooked breakfast was delicious. We will be back thanks Nick and staff for looking after us so well. Sally & Gary

Love this pub! They frequently have the fire going and it has several rooms plus an outdoor space in the back to accommodate a lot of people. Would love for food to be served a bit later in the evening!

I’m a Chichester born boy, who grew up in a house in Westgate so this pub is sort of in my dna. Not been into it for something like 25 years before last week! Everything (landlord, decor, pub name) has changed but the basic layout has changed. It’s still has fed homely feel it always had. It’s smarter inside than it was. It’s a really nice English pub! Great location close to the Cathedral and the absolute gem of a park ‘The Bishops Palace Gardens’ - if you are a visitor to Chichester this is a great local pub to visit

Ideal for an overnight stay to go to Chichester Theatre. Own car park and an easy walk into the city centre. Friendly greeting and staff were efficient. Good breakfast. Recommend room 4 which has a balcony.

Located near the cathedral, this is great option for a stay. Rooms are well presented, food is lovely (particularly breakfast), staff friendly and there's a great beer garden for when the weather is good.

We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The landlord and his staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts and evening meals were tasty and generously proportioned.
