China Royal in Chichester

Seems more expensive than I was expecting. Service slow. I enjoyed the evening with my family but we could have cooked better at home.

All you can eat buffet, very quick service and friendly staff. Huge variety is available to choose from, all food is served as a little portion to avoid wastage, all tasted great. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of staff around to take your order and clear up plates so you're never left too long between orders.

I got a takeaway and was very disappointed, the food was saturated in grease, extremely overcooked and The chow mein had so many strips of onion in it, that I couldn't taste anything else. The price you pay for this kind of poor quality is Very disappointing and I won't be visiting again.

All you can eat for £22 seemed a bit expensive but we were not disappointed as the food was very high quality and kept on coming. Service was prompt and friendly. All dishes were clearly freshly cooked and really delicious. At the end of the day the bill was £62 for two with just one drink each which we thought was pretty pricey for a Chinese meal.

Felt we were rushed was not a nice or comfortable atmosphere. Was shown to our table and before we were all seated we were asked to order drinks hadn't even had a chance to look at the menu..

Very pricey for what you get, not alot of vegetarian choices.... Staff could be a bit more friendlier, we felt like we were putting them out coming in at 7.30 on a Wednesday night...

Went for a birthday party with a booking of 8. Was seated at a large round table. Only just fitted. Food was amazing. Freshly cooked to order and nothing was a bother to them. Ordered many times and kept going back to starters from mains. Plates and cutlery could be refreshed more frequently. The food was a little more spicier than my normal takeaway. But was still awesome. We paid 21 pound a head when we went (nov21). A little pricey and children were half price. Did not seem to be an exception for the 3 year old who was with us.

Amazing food and super friendly staff! The best curry I have ever eaten in my life! I can't wait to come back!

In short, China Royal used to be perfect in every way.Staff attentive & polite, prices reasonable & service first rate.This chinese restaurant has been mine & my families favourite for over 14 years.Sadly now, it is a shadow of how it used to be.Staff surly & not attentive, food quality not a patch on how it has been.Prices of drinks have risen fairly sharply & no longer, are there any baskets of complimentary Prawn Crackers on the tables.In fact, when I visited 5 weeks ago, the mood of the whole place - customers included - was sombre at best.That meal was the 2nd worst I've had from there within 12 months.Shan't be returning.
