Cider House Kitchen in Chichester

Relaxed atmosphere, wonderful menu if you love authentic Italian food, especially pizza!Made and cooked freshly on the premises.....All 3 of our meals were delicious. Not at all a pretentious place and excellent value for money. PS : The dessert with the 3 scoops of ice cream and caramelised pinenuts was amazing. That hazelnut ice cream is to die for! We will definitely be returning, the best restaurant we have found in a very wide area, so far. We have been living in Pagham for 6 months!

The food is nice and the pizzas are done well just really let down by the service and the kitchen today. They seem to have been blindsided by a booking of 6 adults and their children. It took an hour to get four pizzas that made us late so we had to rush our pizzas. What was disappointing was at no point did anyone tell us the delay or even see if we wanted to order more drinks. They seem to be expanding onto the grass but the restaurant this half term lunchtime wasn't full so if the expansion of covers goes as well as today it won't be worth the traffic to see them. Franco Manca open soon in the city town centre so we and many others won't need to travel. Poor.**Update.I'm now hearing from other friends who are local that they have the same experience and will not be returning either. Such a shame for something so promising.

So pizza is great and tasty. Sitting outside on lawn also nice. Picnic a great idea.But the staff are a bit clueless and lost. Spoils the atmosphere as they seem to be a bit untrained. That puts pressure on manager who is at least trying.Would not come here for sit down meal as staff spoils atmosphere but would do take away or picnic on lawn.

Amazing service! Absolutely loved and highly appreciate how so much of the menu can be made gluten free. My mum and my little girl had a lovely time this evening. So thank you

Amazing chef, glorious pizza but single star simply because of poor management. Folks, the puds here are legendary. So if you book a table for 7.30pm you would surely expect to get served a pud before the kitchen closed at 9.30pm? Nope. Restaurant only half full and even after we complained about slow service and closed kitchen it still took 20 mins for the bill to arrive. Lots of staff, v poor management. Huge disappointment.

Fresh meals and kind staff. The building was generally good quality all round. I rate 4 star only because the outdoor area's shelter (as of when I am writing this review) has collapsed and the chairs nasty table s were a bit dirty. By other than that a great restaurant, would recommend!

Stopped off having heard the pizzas are good and it didn’t disappoint. Atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxed but the service is spot on. Totally see why this place is so busy.

After prebooking a table for lunch with our children and dog, we were able to have a table outside with the dog.The staff were lovely - friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Even when the milkshake machine broke, they managed to make us some by hand.The food was delicious and so were the milkshakes.We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again!

Relaxed and comfortable, Cider House is a gem. Try the sharing starters, amazing.....also save some space for a pudding, totally irresistible.....try it, you won't regret it!

Had a great meal here with the family yesterday evening. The platter to share was good, the pizza was perfect and the kids ate every last bit of their Spaghetti Bolognese, they had ice cream and the chocolate pudding we shared was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful even with a full house.
