Very handy village shop which stocks quite a lot of items plus a coffee/ tea place to enjoy a drink, snack etc.

Great little shop and coffee stop. Perfect place to stop for a coffee,cake or a sandwich when passing through. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Freshly made Coranation Chicken sandwiches side salad and crisps, and pot of tea delicious. Very friendly service, we sat outside and they came to us for our order. Felt very relaxed and comfortable.

Amazing little shop, Our customers recommended as they make sandwiches fresh! We visited around lunchtime and left with a huge bag of goodies including my healthy option, tuna salad, the bread was fresh, the tuna was out the can drained and seasoned and the salad freshly chopped in front of us, as was and my pals sausage and bacon sandwich freshly cooked infront of us! Amazing service Both very pleased and will certainly return.

Very good village general store with all basic food and household needs, and newspapers.The Tea Shop serves excellent tea, cakes and savouries.

Real good old fashioned Village Stores with a lovely Cafe. The Chocolate Brownies are to die for! Coffee is good as well. The owner and his wife are friendly and welcoming. Great place to visit.

We visited today as we are on a break near Plaistow. Very convenient little store where you will find essentials and nice local products. The tearoom is tiny and cute. I had a breakfast and my son had beans on toast and a brownie. It was really nice, the bread was so good, it is baked in a local bakery and you can tell the difference! I'm pretty sure we will go again while we are around.

Stopped off for a couple of rolls when driving through with the Mrs. A bit like stepping back in time and nice to see these little independent village shops haven't vanished completely yet. Locals probably prefer that it's a well kept secret but the owner has a tea room attached so worth a visit if you're passing through.
