My favorite café. Every Sunday and not only I drink coffee there with my friends. The best coffee and very nice service. I love this place

Small dispensary downstairs, but the seating is upstairs in two rooms looking out onto the Cathedral. They will bring your order up to you though. The coffee was tasty and various cakes were available too.

Coffee is good one star for that, not so clean place, cutlery very dirty, chatty staff behide the till could talk/gossip less and clean a bit more,empty cups staying long on the table after customer is gone

I popped into Costa Chichester today to get a takeaway coffee and was put through the humiliating experience of being asked to leave.My crime? I said I couldn’t use the hand sanitiser as I suffer with contact dermatitis. The barista told me that she couldn’t risk me touching something that her other customers might touch. I pointed out that I didn’t need to touch anything, but said I was happy to leave if she didn’t want my custom.The fact that I was only ordering a take away coffee and would pay with a contactless card (hence would not be touching anything) did not seem to matter. She then asked me to leave so loudly that the other four customers in the shop all turned and stared!Very rude and humiliating. I didn’t raise my voice or argue at any point, but was treated like a leper (no offence to leper’s, its an idiom)They won’t be getting my custom again.

Brought two hot chocolates, the staff were prompt and polite. Good customer service. This Costa cafe is nicely situated across from the cathedral. A large area upstairs. Would be ideal for a quick stop here before or after taking a tour of the cathedral.

Friendly staff, good service and a good supply of food and drink at all times. Very well positioned town centre location too, right next to the cathedral. Limited space, particularly downstairs, making the supply of eat-in facilities limited for less mobile folks, but a nice atmosphere for meeting with friends and having lunch or drink out.

As regular weekly visits I can do nothing but recommend this cafe. The service is quick efficient and friendly. We are welcomed in every week and keep coming and coming. The drinks are perfectly blended and are always perfect to taste. Whether you go in for a quick takeaway coffee or come in and sit with a nice warm toastie and a hot drink. The drink selection is large and varied with plenty of cakes and pastries to go along. Cannot recommend enough.
