Absolutely gorgeous pub. Best views and great food and drink, worth paying a bit extra. Stunning location

A gorgeous meal at a gorgeous pub! We had a perfect evening at the Crown and Anchor which is under new management and proudly shares its delightful menu of quality fresh and locally sourced food. We enjoyed the generous amount of fresh dressed crab and fried seafood and could not fault the service and friendliness of all the staff.Thank you for a lovely evening. We’ll be back!

Gorgeous cosy pub, great atmosphere, real fire. Excellent food not at all like standard pub fare. Real food obviously created by a creative chef with great ideas, not just packaged stuff warmed up in a microwave! We appreciated the vegetarian dish, the truffle fries and the best sticky toffee ever! Serving staff were also excellent. Not surprising that the place was buzzing and full of happy diners even on a mid-week night. Places like this deserve to thrive! Well done and thank you! This was the best meal out we've had in a long long time

Wow. What an insanely beautiful pub in a beautiful location! Visited today - a glorious sunny February day - and sat outside right next to the water. The food was superb and the service was second-to-none. Was very surprised at how attentive and friendly the team were despite the packed-out pub garden! 100% will I be returning. Thank you Crown & Anchor - you’re a credit to West Sussex!

Beautiful views, wonderful food, great service. You need to book because it’s massively popular.

Top food. Plaice was on the special. Cooked to perfection, C&A burger was also good. Brill atmosphere and if with a window seat looking out onto the harbour, a great view. Dog friendly pub, so after a meal, with your furry friend a great day can be had. Perhaps washed down with a Young's pint. Enjoyed the pub. Parking also available.

Beautiful old pub by the waters of Chichester Harbour are. Staff were smart, and welcoming. Our waitress was exceptionally good and I did point this out to her. I requested a table by the water and was very pleased with what I was given as my Mum loved it and the view gave her a welcome break and relaxed her. Food was lovely although menu is short but suspect it is like that so they can cook the food from fresh. Definitely will come back.

Overall it was OK. We were a bit disappointed by the appetisers; the Frito Misto was overdone (calamari and octopus were very rubbery), the Scotch Egg was quite bland and the sauce it came with was too sweet. The scallops were delicious and the mains were good. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great coastal menu, stunning scenery especially when you've left city life.. we was lucky to get a seat indoors. But I would advise to book in advance.. we had oysters followed by the lobster, and a couple of cold beers..

Lovely place, great staff. Slightly annoyed by the complicated sitting and menu arrangements (people out the back have the crab burger shack, People inside and outside the front have the main menu).Lovely food. You should book ahead. It is popular.
