Best Fish and Chips in Selsey. Been holidaying in Selsey for nearly 10 years and it's a must visit every time.

This is I'm saying the best fish and chip shop I've ever come across in the UK ever, and I've been to more than 500 in 40 years. Even got filmed for a documentary in banks in Hove and that's on whole new lvls as a high end restaraunt. Dens beats the food on all aspects vs all the rest. Its the cleanest, best operating independant family business,l I've come across, one of the best. Total privalege to be be lucky to live close by, for me and my fiance, my family it's a 10/10.I'm a superfan 😊 wish you was open 7 days a week 16 hours a day, but i know how it is, part of the reason why dens just gets it right, always.

Place was busy, always a good sign. Fish was lovely as were the peas. Chips were a little anemic for us(personal taste probably) We recommend this Dens fish bar.

Fact. The Fish and Chips were amazing. Fact. The Fish Bar is very popular. We had to queue for about 20 minutes to be served.Fact. Two large Cod and Chips were £16.80, but can I refer you back to Fact 1.Fact. Den must now be the richest man in Selsey now that Mr Bunn has vacated the area. Recomended.

I find standards and quality have really gone down hill in my once favourite chip shop in Selsey, as the aroma of delicious fish & chips used to fill the air driving past to the seafront, making you suddenly ravenous for a taste of the Nation's No 1 traditional seaside meal.Not anymore, as there was no aroma wafting in the air, I queued for ages, then when I finally got my meal from the same miserable man that took my order, there was hardly any weight to my package, and although the chips were bland, they were edible, the fish on the other hand was disgraceful quality and almost cold, the batter was so hard and unappealing that when I finally managed to cut into it, there was hardly any fish inside and all I could taste was pure fat, if I'd of eaten it I would of been sick, it felt & looked that it had been cooked at lunchtime, next time I'll try somewhere else!
