We headed to this pub to see what it was like since its refurbishment and new management. We truly had the most delightful time. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the friendly staff and made to feel so welcome, they looked after us all evening. Delicious home-made food, cold drinks, and quick service. If you want a friendly & clean pub with wonderful staff, good food and cold drinks on tap then this is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much to the Joy team, we had the best evening.

Really nice, home cooked food very rustic but it's homely and nicely made. Only complaint is that they was no one serving aside from a 13/14 year old boy and he was the only one in the restaurant serving too. We've been coming back and forth for years and menus were always changing when it was first re-built/ made after a fire a few years ago but they now seem to have stuck with one and it's definitely a good choice! Low/comfortable prices for people that come to the village from West sands and especially filling food!10/10 in my mind from today (10/03/2019)
