Gartons Coffee House in Chichester

We had a good lunch here, not been to Midhurst for years, went by bus.

Our first visit to Midhurst... thought we'd try this cafe for our breakfast on our first morning and then returned again for breakfast for our second morning.The English and the even bigger Full English breakfasts were both yummy yummy. Coffee (double expresso, cappuccino and flat white ordered), maybe not barista made, but okay.Great breakfast menu, check out the waffles.Extremely friendly staff, good open spacious cafe. Situated in the middle of this lovely little town.Highly recommended.A must visit for breakfast!

We visited Garton house as we used to get a good experience there....but sorry..our last visit, have nothing positive to say. Going through the door nearly walked out again, it was noisy, tables too close together, although masks are not law, it was unpleasant having a waiter stand over us without a mask, we noticed many other coffee shops staff still wearing masks. The drinks we bought......the coffee was luke warm & weak chocolate not much better.

Their food is AMAZING I would 100% suggest the toasted waffle with crispy bacon and maple syrup. They staff are really friendly and nice to chat with.

Miserable day in the beautiful town of Midhurst, went to this delightful cafe for a hot snack. Very friendly and clean. They didn't have a couple of things that we asked for so had to change our choices. The food we received was well presented and delicious. Will being visiting again.

We sat outside for a cuppa, I had mango and lychee it was very nice. The staff were pleasant... they also do gluten free treats, but it was late on the Sunday afternoon, so not a lot left in their cabinet for gluten free

These guys are nice, there's nothing wrong with the coffee, service or food. It's just.. a bit average. But they do have an amazing location; to sit outside, and people watch.

Set in the back end of old midhurst near the Spread Eagle Hotel. Service seemed slow considering the amount of staff working. Ordered drinks and cakes which seemed to take forever to arrive considering there was only 3 of us. Having said that cakes and coffee were fresh and tasty.

Really lovely place in a great location. Very friendly chatty staff. On a nice day, great to sit outside under the trees. Nice varied menu for breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea. Would prefer butter instead of spread in sandwiches but it's a very minor note.

Amazing service and great quality food. Dylan's ice cream is a lovely bonus! I'll definitely be back!
